I just recieved a beautiful start of swedish ivy. I know it is not swedish or ivy...but can anyone give me some hints on the care?

if it is swedish ivy, it is easy to care for. bright light (but not direct sun) good soaking when it gets dry. they bloom you know....

Thank you. It is actually looking a little sad. The leaves close to the soil are looking yellowed. I let it dry out completely and then watered with some fertilizer. But, I am just not sure about it...

oh, you shouldn't water it with fert. except about once a month. and then only at half strength. also, you don't want it totally dried out, just dry. i know, that sounds like a contradiction. but, if you poke your finger in it and the soil doesn't stick, it is dry. water it. if you poke your finger in and it is dusty, it is tooooooo dry. deep water it by putting it in a pan/pot of water that reaches the rim of the pot, and let it sit half an hour or so. then let it drain well, and resume normal draining.
