Today I noticed something is eating the leaves on my angel trumpets. Hadn't taken any pics, just removed the leaves. Does anyone know what type of pest would enjoy angel trumpet leaves? nervous

"I have NO idea!", Thorn says, while he munches on an Angel Trumpet Leaf salad.

hmmmm
could be caterpilliars...laying lil black eggs that hatch and eat.they can defoliate a plant in a day easily.

could be earwigs or slugs or cutworms

That would be my 1st choices for our area.

I've read that iron phrosphate pellots can be safely used on slugs.was a flyer on feed store door about it.seems they won't crawl over the pellets.for cutworms can take a can like tuna, dog food, catfood and cut both ends and place around trunk of plant and they won't crawl over it.

Thorny....you might DIE eating angel trumpet salad....unless its a SMALL salad....then you might be hallucinateing or a bad tripping incident somewhat like the 60s.or you'll have the runs& feel just horrible.

Very much appreciated!

I think it's slugs eating my angel trumpet leaves. Wondering if they are getting high. lol lol

At any rate, I put out the yeast mixture night before last and do have slugs either in the mixture or around it. Going to the store today to get more yeast. Tried beer a few nights ago but the smell was so strong, I decided to save the rest for me. lol Just kidding. The beer did smell good though.
