MIL has her Relay for Life tomorrow. She does a "flocking flamingos" fund raiser the week before the relay. There is a lady in town who has just been diagnosed with cancer and it is all throughout her body, so we are putting 10 flamingos in her yard...each flamingo will have a little note of encouragement around it's neck. for instance...."hope your having a great day". Can you think of any that might work for this? I'm printing them out tonight.

I'm trying to google for stuff, but I'm not having much luck. I did find the "What cancer cannot do" poem tho.

Helping the world one seed at a time

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee

Yup, we got enough. The lady absolutely loved getting the flamingos....and she was surprised. Apparently she was at the hair dresser's when I put the birds in her yard and she didn't know who did it. lol I put 14 birds in her yard....she called the newspaper to come take a picture, so we'll see on thursday if it made it in (paper only comes out once a week here).
