what, if anything, can anyone tell me about them? one of my students is giving me hers, she can't take them home, and i'll have about 6-8 in a smallish aquarium. probably a gallon or two. any ideas?

they're easy fish to take care of!! and they can be easily bred, too, if you want to give that a try.

zebra danio info check the links at the bottom for more info on caring for them.

Most gold fish will need one gallon of water per inch of fish.It won't hurt them if they don't get that amount,but gold fish are well lets just say they poo alot so the more water they have the less mess to clean.Zebra Danios are good hearty fish they don't need much space but they do like company.Good luck they look wonderful.

My 3 zebras live in a 10 gallon tank with a couple of neons. General rule I use for tropicals is 1 gallon of water per fish. They'll need a heated filtered tank.

well, nemo was a little upset about having to go into the holding container to be moved from his first home to my home. but he's a happy camper now...
