My water plants are doing really great. I was going to snip a few new ones off and give them to my aunt - how do I do this? The water hyincth I can't really tell where to cut - the water lettuce I think I can just snip the little streamer holding it on to the original plant - is this right?

I cut and gave out a lot of water hyacinth last year....it multiplied so fast. I'd just make sure I cut a decent sized chunk off with a good bit of roots, I don't think you can really mess it up too bad.

I don't have water lettuce so I'm not really sure on that one.
