I took a cutting off of last years coleus and the strangest thing occured. It stayed small and produced an abundance of tiny leaves and even blooms but the stem never grew. I planted it in ordinary garden soil. I guess the soil must not have had any nitrogen in it at all. So today I replanted it in miracle gro potting soil. We'll see what happens now.

That is very interesting, Tammy. I was going to take some cuttings of my coleus plant now I'll try to remember to put them into good soil once they root.
