There are many different names for it.But most commonly its called a screw pine or song of india and also some call it a corn plant.It is still part of the Dracaena family,what ever you want to call it is fine.

How about varigated bamboo? I have some growning inside as house plant but have a row of the same stuff growing along a fence outside. :wink:
