Here he is folks our newest Fledgling Downy Woodpecker Male. The Faint red on TOP of the head tells us that he is a male AND that he was born THIS spring. I first saw him last week at my feeders, and he was back again today. I call his father, Mr. Crisp.

It's my daughter's camera, a Canon PowerShot S3 IS camera with 6 Megapixels and 12X optical zoom. I am still learning its quirks and eccentricities so this picture is fairly out of focus, but I am getting better with it each day.
