Hi, I'm new here and a new gardner. I just noticed some tiny little green bugs on my spiraea bushes and am wondering if they are a problem. The bugs are the size of poppy seeds, they are green and flat like sesame seeds and there are about 50 of them located just right under the blooms on the spiraea bushes. Could these bugs ruin the bush?

They are probably aphids. Use google image to see if that is what you have. If it is knock them off the plant with a strong jet of water.

Sounds like aphids... Wash them away with the soapy water. Check for the ants around and spray if any.
