I read somewhere about pinching off the lower leaves of tomato plants in order to produce more fruit? Has anyone heard of this or perhaps even had success with it? I've been growing tomatoes off and on for about 10 years and have never had the nerve to try it. I usually end up with really good tomatoes, but not a whole lot of them. Any other tips for getting more fruit?

I refer you to another board here:

It is another topic on the same question you have, you'll probably find your answer there along with others. Good Luck ;)
