Howdy ya'll!

I live in West, TX I have been doing flower gardens for the past years, but after planting my spring gardens tis year I have noticed very small slugs moving around I remove them. Are they bad for the garden. Another this i use the big pune bark mulch for decor to help hold moister, I was pruning th pther day and noticed a underneath it was a white growthm that reminded me of fungus but it was dry, it spread out like veins, Any Idea what it is?
Your help would be a great help!

The white growth is most likely a soil fungus working on breaking down the mulch, a normal happening.

If you have slugs, you want to eliminate them. Make up a spray bottle of ammonia, water and a bit of soap. Swirl to mix and spray on the slug - it dissolves on the spot.

something that works magic is... beer... fill up a little bowl of beer...dig a hole and put it in , it has to be (the hole) the same hight as the bowl of beer, garantee that the morning after(like humans after a haevy beer bowl...hahah ) the slugs will have downed iin it...garantee....and you can drink the rest of the beer(not from the bowl ,from the bottle...hahah )
