I just bought some new rooting hormone - it's actually called 'Roots'. Anybody used that?

The stuff I was using was a pink powder - it worked well. But I didn't see any on the shelf so I settled for this one.

(and some nice canna and crocismila bulbs!)

Oh yeah - I also got one of those mini-rose bushes at WalMart last week - keeping it in the window till spring.

Does anybody know if you can propigate those from clippings?

I might experiment with one or two stems of it - looks like it needs a wee trim anyway.

I did some juniper - it lasted a good part of the spring and summer, but it's died off now.

I'm going to try it again though. I've still got the soil and sand mix in the pots for it - I'll just start it up again in spring.

I'm using ROOTS for other things and it's worked.

Just did some hibiscus and begonia - oh boy! If all that stuff takes, I'm gonna' have a heck of a lot of hibiscus and begonia plants!

Might even do a border of hibiscus - man, would I love that.

I know I should remove those flowers from the begonia clippings, but I haven't the heart to - they're just too pretty!

Carly are you by any chance around the green houses in canada that are heated from the warm spring waters?
Penna does import loads from there.
