5 of my bell peppers are doing great. And then there is one that isn't. It is planted towards the back of the bed it has gotten the same care as the others but it is developing tan spots near the center of it's leaves. Can you tell me what is going on?

Hi :)

This very same thing happened to one of my bell peppers at the end of the row. I found it actually wasn't get as much water as it needed. For some reason it was getting more sun or not absorbing enough water as the others. Once i increased it's water it perked right up.

Marina :)

I've got a pest it is now happening to all the peppers. And they are eating holes in the leaves. Anyone know of a good way to get rid of them?

Try mixing a little Dawn into some water and spraying under the leaves or if it is currently living on the leaves spray with a strong jet of water regularly.

thanks I'll get out there and do that this evening. I don't want them messing with my peppers.

I did it I dawn'ed them. I hope that works. I really want a good pepper crop this year. You know how sometimes you just get your heart set on something and nothing else will do. I guess since I think this is the last outdoor garden I'll ever have I really want it to work well.
