About a week ago, my rainbow blue platy had some more babies. This time I was prepared, with a breeders net, and apparently managed to see them shortly after she had the babies. I was able to catch 7 successfully. I had an 8th one in the net, but somehow it disappeared into thin water??? Could not see it after that for anything! The 7 have been doing well so far - knock on wood. How big do they have to be before I can safely put them into the tank and not get eaten?

Oh, I'd love to have an aquarium. All I have is a betta in a large bowl.

well, you could try one in two weeks, and then if a week later it is still there, another one, etc... with releases 2 weeks apart. OR, you could wait until they are about half the size of the parents OR, you could go to the fish store to see what the size ranges they have in each tank...

however you do it, let us know, i think that is cool!
