the last word i had from teacher37 was that there was a delay, and she was sending out the package. i don't have a phone or email for her, but wanted to give her time to get it out ('cause she said she was going to send it) but didn't want tina to have to wait. so... triss and i decided that tina should have a "while you are waiting" gift.

sort of a "we're sorry you are last, but you aren't least" kind of thing. when i hear from teacher again, i'll let y'all know. in the meantime, i'm hoping that tina will get her "real" box soon.

Here it is. See?
[Linked Image]
There are two packs of copper plant markers w/pens
A cute shopping list pad w/matching magnets
A chive starter kit
Daily skin shield (much needed)
A recipe (love chocolate)
A little succulent plant I think is called string of buttons.
And a really nice pot and snail stand.
The pot has a cool crackle finish on the inside. I don't think I want to mess that up with a plant. I will find something else to use it for.
I will have to look up the plant. A lot of mine didn't make it through the freezes this year. The ones that did the hungry critters finished off. It has not been a kind year to my yards and it is not done yet. Come on rain!!!

I'm so glad it got there. I'm so sorry it took so long. I have had a really rough few weeks. My oldest son moved out last week, my youngest son graduated and announced he is moving out next month and my husband just got a new job that will take him out of town for the next two months. I was busy with the graduation and trying to keep myself together all the while trying not to think about how unbelievably quiet my house is going to be this summer....for the first time in a long time. Anyway, I'm so glad you like everything. I believe the plant is called a Crassula. I'm a sucker for any kind of succulent too. Let me know how you liked the chocolate cake!:)

I have such a vivid picture in my mind of Shirley being the last recipient. They would have to carry her out feet first.
