Hi. We bought our house about 15 months ago, and we have this weird tree cluster in the corner of our backyard. I have no clue what it is, and no one that comes over seems to know what it is either. It has several trunks, (probably from suckers years ago) and flowers white in early spring, but there is no fruit. The branches are mosly above my head, but that's because I pruned them.

I hope you can see the base (BTW...I planted the bleeding heart, and I realized that I have a peony that I actually cut up last year, thinking it was a sucker).

Can you get a close up pic of the leaves or flowers for us to see?

~~Tam~ You can bury all your troubles by digging in the dirt.

They look almost like apple tree leaves. I want to point out that the trunks of the trees are very spindly like birch trees, and the overall shape of them is pretty narrow. I tried to take a few pictures of the leaves, but they aren't very good. The flowers are done blooming, but they are little white blossoms that are similar to an apple or a white cherry blossom

look into viburnum prunifolium or one of the wid or garden plums

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!
