The pink and white ladyslipper is the Minnesota state flower. They are very hard to find here. This yellow one is growing in the woods right by our house. I thought it was neat to have that growing there.

Very pretty. I remember my grandma growing the purple ones when I was a child. I also remember being told to stop plucking them grin

what we call a wild beauty! these grow wild, and are extremely rare to find. consider yourself extremely lucky if you every get to see a live one in the wild. these will set seed but the seeds (like all orchid seeds) are too small to sustain themselves after germination, so they require a special fungus.
