I got this plant for mothers day but dont know what it is
I would appreciate any help. I think it is a ground cover at least that is what it was sold as It is even more purple than the pic shows Thanks Betty

Ipomoea batatas ("Sweet potato Vine")
possibly the cultivar 'Pink Frost'.

that's a sweet potatoe vine...

i had one last year. grew VERY nicely in the planter out front in full sun.

it's not hardy in my zone - probably is for you tho!
