Hello all,

I've been trying to start some watermelon seeds indoors for the past month. I've only got one to sprout (out of 6 containers). the cell pack also has cucumbers, a few kinds of pumpkins also all of which sprouted and are getting quite large-except for the pots containing watermelons. I've reseeded twice. They are Sugarbaby variety and I just bought the seeds this winter/spring.

Knowns: peat based starter soil, moist but not overwatered, full exposure to sun all day in a south facing window.

I've never had this much trouble with starting seeds. I'm hoping someone can help. Am I missing something? I've also never done watermelons either.

Andy

you might have better luck in the fruit section for this post.

I've never grown watermelon so I don't have any advice for you, sorry.
