True N95 masks are very good, but 1) who is going to decide if the N95 that you buy is legitimate. And 2) just WHO is going to pay for it ?

Yes, it is our decision what we wear but telling us to wear N95's to prevent infection is not going to work. They are $10 a piece, who is going to wear it and throw it away? People will buy a few and wear them being full of germs all the time. I see it with people out and about as it is, they wear those hospital paper masks and they are filthy. And anything you buy cheaply online is not going to be a real N95.

We are getting a major snow storm today...they are calling for at least 16 inches of snow between this afternoon and the morning.

I wouldn't have to worry about a mask in your area Sunny because with your weather I'd never go outside. I can't drive in your kind of weather.

My mother is doing as well as can be expected. I think I'm taking my step dad to see her tomorrow. I dread it because he talks nonstop.

Yes girls, if you grew up here...you'd gradually learn to drive in this weather. It just becomes 'second nature'. Mind you, a lot of people here will not drive much in Winter but emergencies do happen and have proved to me that I can drive in anything.

We got about 16 inches of snow in this storm and the winds have started. I have to go out in a bit and clean a path for DH to get home for lunch and a quick rest before going back in for the rest of the day. The kids played themselves out last night, it is 8:30 a.m. and they are still sleeping. I have to get them up, make breakfast then head out to deal with the snow.

They delivered my parcel to the local post office, the roads were so bad that the delivery trucks couldn't deliver the parcels. My cable/internet set up only changes at the end of the month so it can sit there for a week if need be.

Wow, 16 in his a of snow..that is a lot..I am so glad that you can drive in it.

I was hoping that you would get all of your equipment before the snow storms began.
I hope it can be installed sooner rather than later.

I still never got the equipment, apparently Canada Post is supposed to deliver it...they are so busy that it will probably be next week.

Rise and shine, the sun is peeking through the clouds....making it look warmer than it is.

I think it is supposed to be 62*F by 2 pm today. I swear we will will all be sick if this switching of temperatures keeps happening.

That is a nice temp, it is minus -18*F here. The wind is terrible...the roads are all drifted in with snow.

The temp got up to at least 74 yesterday..and is forecast to be a bit cooler today. Really foggie out right now.

Yes Junie, I get so overtired with social interactions. I went from being the life of the party in my 30's to being a hermit in my 40's.

We are having spring weather. I saw 2 bluebirds today. Very unusual for this time of year. It's spring here for at least the next 10 days.

It is cold here but nice enough to bundle the kids for sliding. They were outside for two hours yesterday, those 'crazy carpets' make for some fun rides.
