I've tried 4 times and can't get a picture to post. I get a message saying "all of the required fields are not filled in" but I can't figure out what I'm leaving out.
I just tried again and got a message saying that my post has already been posted. Help!!

So the first post came out fine.
Posted the 2nd and 3rd the same way and they came out sideways.
Edited the 3rd, shasta daisies, turned them on their side to see if they'd turn straight up and nope, they stayed sideways.
I can't figure it out.

Thank, I have two of those wheels....I gave away the other two. They came from an old cart that was sitting in ruins from DH"s grandfather.

Thanks, GG took the photo's....I do need to cut the stump with the birdhouse on it about a foot shorter though. BTW: That's the back side of the birdhouse as well.

Sheri is right, they are beautiful. Tell DH he should just be happy you are not lining up the wood projects for him to do, but are doing them yourself.

Nice, lavender will not over Winter here.
Pine needles make a nice mulch...although I have never seen it sold anywhere.

Pine needles.would be perfect for under my blackberries, but I have never seen it sold either. The neighbor has a huge pine tree but I dont think I feel good asking him to rake his needles...

I'd definitely use it....it looks much more natural then the black or red mulch that is available here. We can't even get the 'natural' anymore.

I love the looks of it and how it can pack tight, and so keeping weeds out. However, I seem to remember it being too acidic for some plants. I really must try to see where I read that. Apparently I need to see if I remember it right or not.

I know fresh pine needles add acid to the soil because I used to collect them for my older SIL when she planted a new blue spruce and was having trouble with it keeping its color.

Every house you pass here, if they do anything in their yard at all, have pine needles around the shrubs and flowers. It's a huge business. There are trailers full going up and down the roads all the time delivering and putting out pine needles. I never dreamed it didn't go on everywhere. Live and learn,

The pack stated that they were supposed to be all red...only a few were. Oh well, you can't go wrong with sunflowers no matter the color.
