Tangela is doing well. Her dad appears to be recovering as well. and as she began symptoms the day after her delivery to us we've been quarantining too. But it has been 11 days w/o anything for us so I'm feeling hopeful.

Yes, I am sure we are all wondering how they are doing, Tina. I hope they are well.

Got more of my Christmas put away today. And some small shipping boxes put away in Rubbermaid containers as well. Then I set out the last of the boxes I had for shipping that I want discarded.

Glad to hear that about Tangela and her dad, Tina.
And
Wise move about the quarantining Tina. Better to be safe than sorry.

We have been exposed. That calls for couple weeks of staying home. Mind you, we haven't gone out for months but...

Yes, staying home when it is your choice is far different than having to stay home. I hope the time passes uneventfully and quickly.

Good morning. Just got back from my curbside pickup at Wal-Mart. I already have a list started with the things I forgot to order. This not doing my own shopping, is a pain. If I were in the store I would have seen things and remembered I needed them. But hey, in these times we all have to do what we have to do, huh ???

So happy...there is a good witch marathon on today.....part of all the episodes are on today, and the. rest will be on next Saturday.

Well, Tangela is pretty careful. Wears masks and such while out and about. When she brings the stuff to the house she calls from outside and Jonni and Ted go to get it out of her trunk. I give her money at arms length, masks on. She figures her dad was the culprit in their infection. His symptoms are a day or two ahead of hers. And he has not been so careful with his masks as she.
They have found a new variant in the US now. We lost over 4,000 people in one day a couple days ago. We're still losing over the amount of deaths on 9/11 daily. They need a better way to get the vaccines rolled out. I remember the vaccines for polio being brought to schools by the army. It seemed like they were there every month. My mom breathed a lot easier when we had them.

Yes, I remember getting vaccinated that was a sigh of relief for a lot of mothers I am sure.

That is the thing about this virus...it spreads some easier than a lot of the viruses. I thought Tangela had been extra careful, and so I wondered. Thanks for explaining. I hope they are on the mend ?

Yes the new variant has me concerned. And my grands are concerned about getting or not getting, the vaccine, dont know which, but they all have been asking if they too will be vaccinated, as they understand they got the flu vaccinaton and why.....

I am happy to say that the daily covid count has been going slightly down in this area. I do hope the trend continues.

Going down is good, Carol. California is still a hotspot. Our numbers look bad and they are. But we have a population of 40 million people. That is more than all of Canada.

That really puts things in perspective Tina, I did not know the population for Cali. That is mind boggling.

Junie, I forgot things even when we were able to go instore.

I forget even when I go into the stores too, Sunny. But I get frustrated. See, with our smaller trunk, I limit my list to a certain amount..I would not do that if I were doing my own shopping.

I was going to buy 2 Corel ( spelled wrong I know) ramekins tonight. One was $6.50..but 2 were $26.00......not buying anything at all from that site.

Goodnight..sweet dreams.

Junie, Walmart sells Corelle items online.

We have been fixing up the interior of our barn a bit, trying to renovate with old boards and such is taking us longer than planned. Oh well, we can't afford to buy new lumber so at least it will get done in time.

I miss some people around here. We had a friend who had a concrete company. He did big jobs and had a lot of lumber left over from the framing needed for it. He would send a dump truck over full of lumber to the ranch to be used however we wanted. All it took was pulling nails and occasionally knocking cement off a bit. John did that and that built the treehouse.
That friend died of cancer soon after John did. But John was good having friends like that. You reminded me talking about lumber, Sunny.

I will look online at Wal-Mart, thanks.

That is great about the barn. I am guessing you are modifying the barn since the horses are gone ?I

Yes Junie, we dismantled the horse stalls and made a birthing room for the cows.

Tina, spare lumber is a true gift.

I got caught up with the mopping and laundry, it was a 'too cold' day outdoors.
