I watched the best movie on Netflix, The Bookshop. It's based on a true story. No blood and guts and just plain acting. Nice.

We've had so much rain our yard is like a jungle. I trimmed one shrub last night and it took forever. It's just too hot to try and get it done during the day.

I do not have netflix either. I do have on demand as part of my TV package though. I think I will try typing in "The Bookshop" and see if it come up. Can't hurt to try, right ??

Well shoot. I don’t often watch TV so I’m not sure it’s worth my money but it’s nice to have a choice.

Happy birthday to GG.

Reading is good Tina, I wish the library in town was open...I get books there often in Winter.

Thanks for the birthday wishes for GG.

I have to take GB home later....it is so hot outside that we can't even go out to play.

Yes, I wish I could.go.to the library. We are due to pay for a new new one in Cape.that Valarie goes.to ..but unless we are going to the weekly children's program it is not worth it to me. Perhaps I will see if the local town has one. That should be free to me.

I just got 1 gallon of water from last night's rain. And a big bowl of tomatoes from the vacationing neighbors. A few if my tomatoes should be ready to pick tomorrow.

Hey ! I posted in response about 30 minutes after you asked, Sheri....
I will try again !
,......,....................A library card would cost us $60.00 a year, as we do not live in the city limits of Cape Girardeau. To me that is a bit much, esp. since I would be the only one using it.

I will say sweet dreams now. Sleep well.

So true Tina.

I hope those curtains last forever...they are the easiest 'wash and hang' that I have ever owned(they came from Zellers, $15 for a two pack). I have had them for about 15 years and they get washed every few months and are still like new.

I forgot to add that this year we only got 34 large round bales from our fields(the lowest amount we have ever seen)....I remember that over five years ago we used to get 60. Global warming is having an extreme impact on everything.

Good morning !

Wow that is a big difference, Sunny . and there are people that say global.warming is not.a.real.thing...SMH

I had, have curtains like that..I had 3 colors..white, blue and rust orange. The white ones washed and came out white as snow....I have had them.for years..... I just mention it so you know that I understand how wonderful that is.

Gosh $60.00 is a lot. Could you use Valarie's?

Sunny is the hay problem because it's so hot the ground dries out that when rain comes it doesn't absorb? I can't imagine your bug population lives through your winter, which is my problem. Winters don't get cold enough to kill off bugs.

I have 1 double window over the kitchen sink and I got curtains at Family Dollar for maybe $6.00 and I throw them in the washing machine, then the dryer, than hang them back up. Love it.

She usually does buy the library card Sheri, but, with the corona virus there are too many people around in the library so no going to the library for us this year. Or I would have a library card.

Hard to believe but I have 2 windows and a door with a window in my kitchen. Mind you it is a tiny galley kitchen...But anyway,.I have a valance sized panel on the window iver the sink...Then on the other window and on the door windiw, I have white Cape Cod curtains.

TIna, I think we must have. Heat warnings today, and then storms and rain tonight.

Sweet Dreams everyone

Yes Sheri, the ground is so dry that even when it rains...it is not absorbing down far enough. The heat is too hot....and believe it or not, the cold does not kill the bugs. Although this heavy heat has kept the mosquitoes all at bay.

Oh well, the heat will be gone soon enough and I'll be complaining of snow before you know it. lol

I'm going to open a new coffeehouse for us.
