Sheri, is the.opening early an attempt to catch up from the spring or to get in as much school as possible incase of another shut down. Just curious.

It is hot again here too.. 105* today and sticky. I am inside with the ac... don't know how my hubby stands it outside in this but he was born in AZ so guess that helped...

We are still considered a hot zone for the virus in Az.. over a thousand cases yesterday... not here in Sierra Vista but in Pnx and Tucson it is bad and I ready Yuma is bad too... so much for us traveling this summer... sure hope they come up with a vaccine that works...

My inlaws came over today.. gave us some produce from his garden... fresh tomatos... squash, cantaloupe.. that was really good... had grew corn too but he said the worms got it... was nice to see them even though we distanced with them... he has finally gotten the message having every tom dick and harry at his house isn't a good idea ... hubby told him if he exposed his sister with his open door to every person that shows up he will never forgive him.. she is 74 and diabetic... sure doesn't need to get this crap..

Well I need to go make some dinner- have leftovers to eat so it will be easy... been so quiet here... everyone must be busy...

Good morning. Apparently spam callers think 6:30 is a good time to wake me up.

Good morning. I wish I had something gooey to eat this morning. But nothing comes to mind (that doesn't involve standing in my kitchen). So I guess cereal will do until my groceries get here later.

Yes, Something gooey would be wonderful. I may have to make something..perhaps cookies...I found a new recipe for soft choc chip cookies. You add a box of instant vanilla pudding.

I like gooey....count me in.

I spend the day running with the cat yesterday and today to the dentist with GG....tomorrow I am hiding.

Why were you running with a cat?

We had a fire near here today. But it's now over 50% contained and lots of personnel on it. 50 acres involved. I just might be able to sleep tonight.

Ah so happy that you got your GG dentist appt. In. Good to have that out of the way before school starts....

Tina..so sorry to hear of the fire. I hope they get it completely under control for you. Sleeping well would surely be nice.

Well, I spoke too soon. The fire has grown to 200 acres and climbing my mountain now.

I am up at four am, looking for updates on our fire. All the news is still at the same 185 acres and 10% contained it was at about 11 pm. I guess I have to wait for daylight to find out anything. It is better than someone banging on my door telling me to leave, I guess.

Tina, I had to take a barn ct to the vet, it had an eye infection. GG made a 'partial' pet out of it...so they gave us drops and meds for pain. Then they told me to take the cat back next week for an eye surgery, they think it has an eye defect called entropion. I am still waiting for the $$ quote first.

Oh, I am sorry, Sunny. I would wait for the quotes too before deciding.
Still no update on my fire. It's been light for over an hour but no sign of aircraft overhead. So no news is still good news, I guess.
