Hi’
I am new to the forum. I have a African Violet that I reported into a bigger pot approximately 2.5 months ago. I think it’s doing ok. When I reported it I believe it was really multiple plants. One separated off on its own but the other is what seems to be either two or one bigger one. That stayed together. I planted that in a bigger pot and the smaller one that separated, I repotted into a small pot. The question I have is, there seems to be a part that grew off the main one it sits very superficially on the soil, I can almost lift it up off soil. Is this normal? I made sure it had lots of lightly loose soil to sit on. why And overall any suggestion on the plant based on its look.

I used to grow them and it looks healthy to me. Sometimes after repotting it takes them a while to settle in.

I agree with Bestofour.

But let me suggest this. When you water use lukewarm or water that has sat for 48 hours. Also, water at the base of the plant, being sure not to splash the foliage with the water.
They do not react well to thst.

Also you could try putting the African violet near a South or West facing window. ,(no direct harsh light)....They like temperatures 65 and 80*F

Good Luck and let us know how it dors.
