Tina, 17 and healthy and the virus overtook him? That should put the fear in everyone fully. Poor lad.

People are still roaming here..well not at my house but they are using my brother-in-laws house as a drop in center. He's a pot head and has a pool table in his living room...if he gets sick, no one in this house is going to look after him. thumbup

It is getting a bit milder here...I wish the snow was gone, we can't even go for a walk because the snow is beyond the edges of the driving lanes...there is not even a sight of the 'sidewalk'. I wish I spent the extra money for those snow shoes.

Yes Tina.I have a question..is this 17 yr old boy alive yet...Sorry I did not understand. But I agree...hopefully Brooksville begin to understand.

I will say somel people who do not " get this" are just not understanding the situation....my cousin thought that this viruses not real just a political ploy..thankfully we talk so she now gets it. Then she didn't fully understand the social distancing..she now understands that as well...I will say when I was out yesterday, people were not practicing social distancing...not that I saw....

Plus I have a question..if you can be contagious for 14 days before you show symptoms, just how many people who were screened yesterday when we were out were actually contagious ?...

No, the 17 year old died. Yes, the virus incubates in you for up to 14 days before showing symptoms. Yes you can be spreading it around before you know you have it. I do not know how many people had it yesterday where you were and neither does anyone else. This is why I'm sheltering in place.
Or I should say Shelter in Peace. I like that much better.
I will also say that people appear to be shedding the live virus for a couple of weeks after they recover so may still be contagious. I'll be mighty surprised if anyone is packing churches on Easter. (2 weeks & 3 days)
I'll also say I'd be surprised if I show up before May's end. I am in hiding until the numbers come down. Number of new cases. Number of deaths. Number of pop-up tent hospitals. Number of temporary morgues. And even then, I'll be getting ready for it all to come around next fall for round 2.
I feel very sorry for people living where the governors don.t feel that it is a problem and are not shutting it down. Those are the places it will hit the worst.

Now I have a question or two. Who/what is Brooksville? And what were you screened for?

I have no idea what Brooksville is. I went back and read it and I have no idea what I was trying to say. the autocorrect on this kindle fire is the pits...I takes me several times redoing a post to get the words to be what I typed. It often changes after I hit "post reply".

Now, I had some diagnostic mammograms done. I called twice to try to cancel..I explained my high risk factors and while I could have canceled the nurse I spoke to recommended that I not cancel my tests, she said it would be a long time before I could come back....So we went..we did not stop on the way up, or on the way back..no meals were had until we were home and had showered, and put clean clothes on.
I am just fine by the way.....
We have not been to church since the first Sunday in March...I think it will be summer or possibly fall before we go back. My old church in IL was having services by appt. Up to a few weeks ago. There could be no more than 50 people in church and while families could sit together, others had to sit 6 feet apart. There were several services added to the schedule to accomplish this. They are now holding services via the internet as is our new church here.

Goodnight, sleep well, my friends.

Sweet dreams, Carol. Maybe it's a good thing you got your mammo in before the hospitals are slammed. I am glad you are taking good care of you.
