Good Morning !

I have my day mapped out for me....
I need to finish putting away my Christmas decorations, and then I have a few errands to run. And both of these will come after sO out my bathroom back together. Rod cleaned out my sink drain yesterday...the whole room is full of stuff that should be in my vanity...

Thsnks, Tina..and yes it was an easy fix, thankfully. It just needed to be cleaned out...

I am getting tired...which is bad timing as I still have ornaments to box back up and put away.

Morning … well for a few minutes more here anyway....

Slept in today... seem to have more non sleeping nights lately... not fun... but it is what it is I guess... not like I have to get up at a certain time at least... updated my bills and paid insurance premiums .. starting to get tax stuff together.. always fun.....

It's supposed to be nice for next couple days so hubby plans to get yard work done … then rain will start again... been a wet winter for us .. and they say we may get another bit of snow too.. don't mind it here... it melts in a few hours... I have a roast to put in oven today... makes us a nice meal and lots of leftovers for lunches during week... yay less cooking to do for a while... older I get the less I seem to do..

Well guess I better get busy, need to run the vacuum... dog hair everywhere... did get Christmas stuff down and put away... hubby did most of it.. I just boxed and made sure we got it all … seems like we leave a least one thing out every yr..

Have a good day all....

Nana

Tree and ornaments are down and put away. All that is left are my nativities, and Ceramic Santa Clauses....and 2 very tiny ( like 1 ft ) Christmas Trees.

I think it is time to make supper.

LOL. YEA...sounds like it doesn't it ?.. See this is one of my main concerns. If one of us suddenly got hurt...who is going to let the rest of us know what is going on.

Personally I like to think my Valarie will come on here and talk to you all if I get hurt or suddenly get sick....But I do not not know.w no

The death was in DH's family...a cousin(suicide). He always did what he wanted in life...and did the same going out with it. He had no wife and no kids.

It is so cold today and the wind is awful.....the stove is eating the wood and not giving the heat back in return.

Sorry for your family's loss, Sunny. kissie

I too know that feeling. We had that problem when the wind was blowing. It seemed that the wind would blow the heat right out of the house, and we spent all of our time out feeding the stove, sometimes, even if we were burning oak or hickory. I still miss that heat...you are very fortunate to have it. I am happy for you all.

Yeo, and people do not believe in global warning. I will say "they" should have given it another name...IMO the title is a bit misleading.

2 days ago we were wearing sweaters out...now for the next several days we are going to get colder weather and lots of rain, lots, like 3 inches or more....and possibly snow....I am hoping for rain......with the snow, could come ice and Rod says they are more prone to ice in this area than we were at home.

The name has changed. It is called Climate Change or more like Climate Crisis And it is bad. People are noticing. And the things that were predicted for 2050 or beyond are happening now, sooner than expected. And I worry for my children.

We've had strong winds too but today was pretty calm. 54° and calm. Doesn't get much better.

It's time to start thinking about getting my straw bales out for squash in the spring. I think I'm going to go ahead and plant green peas and see what happens. I hope it gets colder but I'm not sure it's gonna happen so the peas needs this little bit of cool.

Sheri is planting already?...I'm going to cry lol

We usually get a freakish thunder storm in January....which in one way is nice because we get to see the Northern lights when it happens.

Today we are getting flurries with rain/ice pellets for tomorrow followed by 14 to 16 inches of snow on Sunday. Yay...not.
