A few weeks ago i started noticing some lines appearing on the side of the leaves of my panda plant
there isnt much online about them but some people said they might be like stretch marks (?) due to over watering and others said it might be leaf miners, although I think it's unlikely since the pattern of the lines is completely different
I've been watering this every time I see the soil completely dry on top

I used a wooden skewer to dig around the soil a bit, and out flew some pests :/ the had wings and were mostly black I think? so I'm guessing the issue its probably bugs in the soil, maybe eating at the roots? I'm not able to check the soil at the moment so I'm doing it the first change i get tomorrow but i wanted your opinions on if it's the bugs or something else (its probably the bugs) aswell as tips on getting rid of the bugs without discarding the plant
are there any solutions?

That's scarring from insects. Is there a way to catch one of the bugs for identification...either way, I'd buy an insecticidal soap for plants and follow the directions.

~~Tam~ You can bury all your troubles by digging in the dirt.

Also, you might consider repotting the plant.( spraying any excess soil off of the plant)

thank you very much for you response smile would you be able to tell me if its because they're eating at the leaves or does it have to do with the root system?
