We"ve had lots of hummingbirds lately. Guess the rain and humidity brought them out.

my side yard was full of hummingbirds this afternoon. The other day I thought they had left. Maybe a bunch is migrating through.

I just reminded Johnny that I want a motion camera for Christmas and YES he had already forgotten. You guys will have to keep reminding me to remind him or I'll forget to remind him and he'll forget to buy it for me.

Junie you posted this in 2010 so I guess it's normal for my birds to be here this long. Not sure why I was thinking they should be gone.

2010 year

My Hummers have been gone since between Sept 15-22.

They are usually around until this time of year (first week of October)

Yes they would be around eating as much nectar as so could put out...I messed up this year for them, but so have my pile in and painted so I will be ready for next year. e

I really need to look up when they come and leave in this area.

I meant to put out more food today and didn't get it done. I think I have enough flowers to get them through to tomorrow.

Yes, I think you will be fine...but try to get them fil!ed tomorrow.

I looked and looked and while I had no problem finding the desired info for mid Illinois when I lived there, all I could find for southern Missouri was when they are due to return. Mid of March next year for here.

This article was very good. Thanks Sunny.
It said they arrive around April 25 th and leave late September with them being completely gone by October 10. I am writing all this down so I have it here for me to refer to. . The article I read said to put out the feeders early..So perhaps that is why they suggested mid March.

I thank you so much for your help. thumbup
