Posting photos is pretty easy on here...now if I could only learn to resize them You don't really need to; as long as your photos are under the 12mb limit, the system should take care of resizing the image for you (at least in the gallery, not 100% sure on attachments, but the script that displays them should make sure they don't stretch out the browser).

I have already gone up to a yard sale in our subdivision this morning. A family that has twins was having it. I got Valarie some nicer pieces for the girls, and a few pieces for graNdma's house....plus I walked there so I got some good exercise.

Yes, I got a loose- weave short jacket and summer blouse. Everything else was mostly full price. So so didn't look thru that.
There was a double electric water fountain/bird bath at the yard sale that I wanted...but we have 2 outlets for the outside and neither are in good locations, so sadly I passed.s
Cleaned house today...cooling off now.

Pile the dumpster up high, Tina! We do. The problem is that is the dumpsters are already tall. I'm over 5'7" and I can barely look over the edge. My kids are dinky and can barely toss things into the darned things. And they are only emptied once a week. We'll get it done.

Tina are you doing a major clean up at your house?
We woke up to 70 degree weather and a nice drizzle this morning. First time this has happened in a while. Most of our rain has come from thunder storms. Today has been nice and I enjoyed the house warming.

Those dumpsters need to have a ramp Tina.
I made more preserves yesterday. DH is debating what to trade our car on, it will be something second hand at the dealership....if they even allow it.

Tina, the mechanic said the noises were not good...it is in the motor.
I made dill pickles, mustard pickles and cucumber lunch preserves.

Sadly, this year I won't have much peppers. Each year there is always something that it is a hit or miss. I'll go from 5 gallons of peppers usually to maybe 5 peppers in total.  Tina, it takes about 50* F to get me out of a tank top and shorts ...then I put light jacket on with the shorts

They can be pickled. My dad would cut banana peppers in half, clean out the seeds, grill them a bit on his charcoal grill then pickle them in a pickling & oil mixture. He added a clove of garlic and a piece of 2 of carrot to each jar as well when filling. They were heavanly! Then he would also cut green peppers into 3 or 4 pieces and then pickle them. He loved them on his lunchmeat sandwiches.

Tina, I freeze my peppers...but I go through A LOT of them and they are expensive here so I try to grow them by the gallons. They are doing a bit better this week, I am going to cover them with a plastic drop cloth to fool them into growing as long as I can. I just got back from going for a few groceries at the local store...their produce quality has gone down in the past while with the new owner, yet the prices are higher than ever.

That happens, Sunny. peppers are mighty expensive here too. And they're are grown here for much of the country. And through a long season. I hope you get your gallons of peppers.

Sunny, I hope your peppers do well. You have such a short season you need everything to be perfect. We don't eat peppers so I have no idea about the price here. Junie I don't drink coffee but cool whip goes with a lot of stuff

The news is telling us to brace for heavy rain/winds with Cyclone Erin tomorrow afternoon....the elders will be in a panic today. I need to clean DH's truck today....one should be able to just hose it down on the inside as well as the outside.

I just went and cornbread $100. On groceries for this weekend when I am having the kids....mind you I spent a bit over $200. Last Tuesday. I feel so sorry for my daughter....her grocery bills must be outlandish.

Your auto correct is at it again Junie...cornbread for $100   Groceries are a fortune. The cost of living keeps rising but not the wages to match. GG went for a haircut and even got her ears pierced. Her ears are so small they had to use the baby earrings....apparently now she is ready for school

Junie that is expensive cornbread.
Sunny, Darbi, who is 20, just got her ears pierced. We couldn't talk her into it but when her 11 year old sister decided to do it Darbi did too. Now she's glad.
I think we spend a lot on groceries just for 2 of us but Shelley spends $400.00 a week every week and sometimes more. Tracy and Colby are big eaters and Colby drinks 3 or 4 gallons of milk a week. That's all he drinks except for water. Shelley packs their school lunches every day too. I don't know how they afford all they do.

Well I did not buy any cornbread.....that was supposed to say I spent about $100 on groceries for this werkend....after having already spent a bit over $200. Last tuesday.
How the word cornbread came up, I have no idea. I wanted to get my ears pierced back when I was 21.... But my mom did not want me to do she told me I needed to wait until my ear healed from my car wreck repair...and by then I was out of the mood.

It is in the 70's here...and I thought it would be warmer down here is Southern Missouri.

Gosh sunny. How will this affect your vegetable garden? It's still hot here. As long as the frost keeps at bay, they are fine. I'll soon have to cover my peppers and tomatoes at night though. It is so cool and damp this morning....the 'no see-ums' are out in full force. My arms and legs are burning from the bites while attending the morning outdoor chores....it's time to wear pants I guess. Happy Labor Day!

Tina, Colt's been here so I haven't watched TV lately so I'm not sure what's happening with Dorian. Our weather is great right now though.
Sunny, I've noticed more bugs here since it's cooled a degree or two. I got stung by something the other day and I usually don't get stung.

All of the Georgia coast is onder evac orders. Dorian's driving the experts nuts because they cannot predict direction. Right now it's stopped over Bermuda.
