TY ladies, it's been a super busy week! I had a pretty good birthday with my kiddos, and this weekend Trey and I are going camping with his Scouts troop (both the Boys and Girls troops); though it's supposed to rain most of the weekend, it'll be at one of our favorite campgrounds.

The rain wasn't too bad since we were prepared for it, but the hail while we were packing things away to return to town was a little unexpected... But I took plenty of pictures. Ford paid to have several campsites updated with bunk houses (they generally have open Adirondacks or tent houses), and Oregon Museum of Science and Industry paid for the new bunk houses to have heaters for their programs out there, so it wasn't exactly roughing it... Though I ended up being the only adult in my bunk house on the second night (most of the adults in my group are hardcore hammock campers, so they just used it for storage), so the heater never got turned on where I was lol.

They have a bunch of old tent decks that use canvas covers, but they get rained on in the off season and rot all the time; I think the new Adirondacks are supposed to phase them out, which is great because one can actually keep dry without having to bring a tarp... Which one usually has to bring anyway here in the Pacific Northwest (it rains, a LOT).
