Hi all.

I am watching the snow fall....our last storm had melted so it all begins again.

Tina, I watched your news this morning...such devastation for your state. It is so sad. I am sending prayers that you are spared any of this disaster kissie

We went to the farmers market this morning. I got eggs, potatoes, and tomatoes. I hate the day the tomatoes are gone. Then I rode with Johnny, with a bad attitude, to the house of a couple he grew up with. He's asked them to come to church for years and years and they've never been able to make it. Now they are both out of work and sick and called him to ask if the church would give them some food. Of course he said yes and I didn't have a bad attitude about that - until - I found out that she wanted us to deliver it to her too. She said she's not supposed to drive with the medicine she's taking. So we drove 40 miles from our house to accommodate her. People take advantage of churches because they think that's what churches are supposed to do and sometimes I get the wrong attitude.

I'd have had a bad attitude too, Sheri. But it's not the best thing for a pastor's wife. A good thing you married a plumber and I married an ag teacher.
I took a vacation today from the news. I'll have to watch the 11pm to see where the fires stand. The winds are supposed to be back tomorrow. That's not good.

Sheri, it's a shame how people take advantage of other's kindness. It wouldn't take long to bankrupt a church's funds if everyone done such a thing.

Our power has flicked off all night...the winds are awful. DH is at work because the roads are covered in ice. It is sad about the weather because all the Rememberance Day services begin in a couple of hours. I am thankful that GG's school held one earlier in the week so I could attend.

Prayers for your state Tina kissie

We had a fire nearby today. But the winds eased up at the same time and they jumped on it hard. They got it out with no structures burned, I think. They are not sure of the acreage lost til daylight.
The winds are back now and humidity is at around 5%. It,ll be like that for a few days.
Sweet dreams all.

Gracious so much destruction going on..so sorry Tina. Stay safe.

Sunny, I hope they winds die down. So sorry winter reared it's ugly head already.

We are at my DD's house in Virginia this week I fell in a parking lot Saturday about 2 hours from her house. I was checked out and have no broken bones but am just so sore it is hard to get up and down and walk by myself. Each day is better so I am encouraged. I will get there. Really enjoying my time here though I must say.

Junie, did you trip? Why did you fall? Glad you're ok.

Tina, those fires are something. Makes me thankful for humidity. So sad about Paradise.

Sunny, ice in the south is the worst. We aren't prepared for it and can't drive in it. I dread an ice storm.

Sheri: We were going into McDonalds for lunch and I was rushing to catch up with Rod, and I hit his heel and it threw me off balance and I fell on my right side. Thankfully nothing broke .

Junie is going to be grounded from going out to restaurants to eat.

I am watching the news...I can't imagine who will be able to afford house insurance in Cali after this ordeal....not to mention all the lives that are lost as well. It is so sad.

GB is here, he came yesterday and I will take home after Supper...we are getting a snow storm tomorrow.

Don't say that outloud, Sunny. We don't want to give DH any ideas.

Keep safe, Sunny. Insurance is awful here.
Carol. No more falling allowed. I am very glad nothing is broken.
Sheri, SoCal shuts down after a couple flakes fall due to lack of equipment also.

I hope your weather gets warmer, Sunny. It would be nice to have a weird warm spell for you. And while we're talking about it can you ask your western neighbors to shut the back door? They let an awful lot of cold air down this way. :)
Sweet dreams all.

Good morning! Yes, Tina has a good idea, Sunny. But could you have everyone shut the back door ? I dislike the cold so very Michaels I am missing my coffee. I will need to check into that. I wish everyone a warm and wonderful day. Thank goodness for our warm houses.

I wish they'd send some rain your way instead Tina.

Yes Junie, warm houses are a blessing.

The storm is supposed to bring 8-12 inches by tonight. DH started back to work full time this morning...just in time to deal with the mess. I have a house to clean and laundry to do....with a few sticky fingerprints to tackle as well lol

They do send rain sometimes. I am picky though and prefer Mexico's warmer rain.

Warm rain is nice to play in. I remember it well as a child....these days it seems the rain is cooler.

I am off to shovel snow in a few minutes.

Yes I seem to remember p!aying in warm rain too. Esp. After a storm. We would also have fun sailing boats down very full ditches (they were actually sticks) and if course we did it barefoot....

Hi Dodge...it is so nice to have you back kissie

We got about a foot of snow..we are getting nasty winds at the moment. The power keeps flicking and DH called and said that there are power lines on the roads in places....they can't even pass to clear the snow. School is cancelled....and so Winter begins lol

Poor you.I think of you often.. Do youstill have the horses an such?
So far no deep stuff here. Guess you spend loads of time putting wood on the fire. I have oil heat an it costs a fortune.

You need home schooling there.LOL.
Bet you do teach them lots.

Yes Barb, I have horses, cows, pigs and chickens. It's a hobby farm that barely breaks us even at times but a life that we love none the less. I think hard work and simple living is the key to happiness....as long as one lets me lament about my snow haha

Are you still in your farm home?

Safe travels tomorrow Junie.

The dr's office just called to cancel GG's appt for tomorrow...(check-up results)...I am glad, driving 45 minutes on snow packed roads is the last think I want to do. Half our province has no power again with this wind. We are getting 100 km gusts...with snow squalls. I am not going anywhere for a few days lol

Keep safe everyone. I have a fire nearby (four miles away). But they jumped on it and it's 75% contained so I'm hopeful.

Oh my Tina, I pray you have an evacuation plan in place to be able to stay with some of your family.

Over 10,000 without power and it is -20* out there. There'll be lots of frozen water pipes by tomorrow. My power was off from 3:30 til after 6pm...it must have been a simple fix to get it back this soon.

That's good news Tina.

Yes Junie, I have a generator now....and I am ever so thankful. I'd never take out my woodstove either. It seems so many took theirs out and put in these new heat/split pumps...many are regretting it.

The bus was an hour late this morning...of course we find out after waiting out in the cold for an extra 15 minutes. I wish they'd notify us...I had to come in and call the school to find out.

Another storm on it's way for us tomorrow.

You know I really dislike winter. I do not mind the cold so much, it is the snow, and it is that that I really dislike. Sorry about your bus delay non -notice.

Tina glad there are no fire worried for you.

I slept so good. It was great after days of wind and fire worries. And we may get rain next week. If the burned hillsides stick we'll do well.

I am glad that you slept well, Tina. I am also glad that you are out of danger even if it is just for now.

Hi all,

Hope the fires stay away Tina, I have a couple relatives over there but not in fire zone but still praying it stays away and the rain comes soon to help get them out...

We are planning to drive up to Colo to spend Thanksgiving with the kids... weather is supposed to be decent so hopefully no storms... and Joe finally agreed to go get a hearing test and start the process of getting hearing aids... only been 10 yrs of convincing.. they called today and had a cancellation for tomorrow so we get to go earlier too... doing happy dance here!

Hubby is out now getting a hair cut the , cash for the trip. going to give the kids their Christmas cash too while we are there... we can't leave till Tues but plan to drive as far as we can .. my foot doesn't hurt as much now so hopefully can make it all the way... will give us extra time with the boys and to visit more friends...

Nana, congrats on the hearing aides for Joe. my DH refused to get them, so his brother sent him his extra set. They have been adjusted to work for him. So I figure now if these go bad he will have to get a set for himself.

Safe travels for your Thanksgiving celebration. I wish you a wonderful time visiting.

Safe travels today Junie...and for you as well Nana.

School is cancelled again today...the snow storm is traveling towards us....8-10 inches forecast. I might take a quick run to the local grocery store in a few minutes since I have an hour or two before the storm begins.

Morning all,
Thanks for the good wishes for safe travel... so excited to go see kids... hate to say it but weather here is so nice, cool at night do run heater but days are really nice, jacket weather but not cold... hubby is out walking Milo... I have to get dressed to go to doc for his hearing test soon... so glad he is cooperating .. now just hope they help him... he broke his eardrum in one ear as a kid so that ear is damaged for sure, hopefully he can be helped with the other one …

Just did my bills for end of month and trip.. glad that part is done... hubby went and got cash needed for trip and all I need to do is get us ready clothes wise and pack us up.... have a good day all!

Get lots of cuddles in with the wee ones Nana.

I made a trip for a few groceries and some more syrup for GG. She has an awful cough that will probably end up as croup...it happens every year.

The snow is falling heavily.

Well, my part is done....DH has the barn yard to do when he gets home from work.

I am thankful for my new roof...that means I don't have to shovel it off every storm. Once a month should be good. thumbup

Have a good 'errand' day Tina.

Hi all,

should be getting ready for trip but read msgs… laughed at the "wee ones" boys are all so big.. most of them tower over me granted not hard at 5 ft nothing but only ones little enough now to cuddle are the great grands so will cuddle the one I get to see while in Colorado.. he is getting bigger too. why do they have to grow up so fast!

Hubby is getting his hearing aid, as we suspected he has no hearing in one yr at all, other ear been compensating all this time .. that ear was failing too but hopefully this aid will slow that down and not get any worse... best part is they ordered it and it will be in Monday so he can start wearing it and actually hear the kids! I will feel safer with him driving too.. but will probably have to quit being a smart mouth to him cause now he just may hear me … LOL!
Well off to get laundry done and start packing up , we want to leave early Tues morning and hopefully drive thru.. see if my foot can take it, will have Milo so will have to stop so that will help since now I can actually walk around more...

Happy Thanksgiving All!
Nana

as long as I have tylenol in me and a walker I am doing ok. I wish you all a good day

Thanks so much, Sunny. And good for you !

Walkers are necessary evils …. didn't like using mine much either but was so much better than being stuck in a wheel chair....LOL!
Hubby is getting his hearing aid today , so happy he is getting it and will be able to hear and enjoy the family better, when everyone got together it was to much for him before and he would go sit on his own, he will be much happier now being able to join in.

Well got to get busy now and start packing. clothes for cold and for warmer... twice as much luggage.. not to mention the dogs cage, bed and food...

Well off to start the daily race... enjoy your day all!

Hi all. It was a LONG day out but my mother is ready for Christmas...and all is well with GG's check up results.

I got a little Christmas shopping done....most items were already sold out from the flyer. I buy a little gift to go with Walmart gift cards....they can buy what they want themselves lol

Been awake for about 45 minutes. I DO wish I were home where my Dr. treated me right. It hurts so bad to be in bed.

Ok rant over. I will go and read now. I hope you all are blissfully sleeping and continue to do so for awhile yet. Sweet Dreams.

I am very confused. Why are you in bed, Carol?
Gift cards and cash are the way to go with adult children, Sunny. I gave my oldest a few hundred yesterday to help see her through her upcoming surgery and recovery. She just needs a date and the place to go now.

Tina..sorry I was not awake, apparently... ..when I go to bed to sleep, it is very painful to move. I am far better off to be up, sitting.

Forgive my rant...I was tired, I hurt and was upset. I finally went back to bed and was able to sleep until 9:45. I feel human now. Still hurt but can deal with it.

I hope everyone is having fun getting ready for Turkey Day !

Yes I did. The 6 yr old (I used to watch him when he was very small) was happy we were there but was more interested in his ipad. The 4 yr old wanted me to go down into the basement and play with their doll house (there is a finished basement in their house where most of the toys are) the 2 yr o!d would do whatever you asked if mom was not around, and the new born, well all she wanted was for her mom to hold her and let her nurse. I think she may have the colic or whatever they call it now a days. I did get to ho!d the baby the few times she consented to let her mom hand me over. And, they brought the doll house up so the older boys and I could p!ay. I also did a lot of book reading to the boys. Well except for the books that Luke (the 6yr old) read to me.

I must brag some...a few days before we got there, Luke was accepted into the gifted program in math and science at his public school, Which is the only 2 areas there are. He went thru extensive testing and will be in this program thru the 8 th grade. He is in Kindergarten now as his birthday fell after the cut off.

Don't blame you one bit for bragging. That's wonderful. Sorry you're in such pain when you lay down. Must be awful not to be able to rest.

Agree about the gift cards. Cuts out having to judge for sizing and age appropriateness for toys and games.

About the gift cards...Very true, but my Grand s are little guys. I sent them money for their birthdays the checks are still on the counter a month later. So now they think their brother got a gift when they did not.........

Yes, for littles a gift that they can see, feel and play with is a must. But you can keep the gifts small (inexpensive) and give checks too.

My mom buys the kids a pr of pj's and a small toy then adds the money in a card for their savings accounts. The gift itself never exceeds $20. This year I bought them each a toy, then they'll get one outfit...and hopefully their bunk beds for here.(I never spend that amount...but the beds are really needed).

Not sure what today holds....I might make bread.

Yes it is very sad, I have been watching that as well. I have to ask did no one warm them in time for them to get out ?

I am watching the girls this afternoon......mainly they will sleep here so their Mom can go shopping. They are good do it will not be a problem.

I wish you all a great day !

The warning system was set up for a normal fire kind of rolling in. This was not a normal fire. It was like some old movie set where the bad guys are shooting flaming arrows down on the good guys. But the people were sleeping and there were millions and millions of flaming arrows. The cell towers and phone lines were some of the first casualties. The people were stuck on the roads by traffic and burning down in their cars. The CHP and local cops didn't have clear info about where to go and sent people on the wrong paths out. Those phone lines and cell towers being out had a lot to do with the lack of info.
I had a friend online in the fire zone. The first area to be notified. And the last as far as I know. He got his dogs and go bags (emergency stuff just for this type of thing). And he and his wife took off. The straightest route out of Paradis was already on fire. So he had to travel all the way around town like this @ to get out. For a few minutes he was stopped by traffic right outside of the fire station empty of personnel, and heard that the main roads out of town was burning on their radios. But the officer trying to guide them that way out didn't know that it was burning. He went the other way. His wife followed him and so did a big rig.
That was the worst hit town. There are others. That is a sad story for sure.

Don't be sorry about wondering about warnings. I know how much warning I may have in case of wild fire. It is something I dread. We have bigger winds than they do up north. There was about a 50 mph wind fanning that fire. I have watched a fire blown by a hundred mph. It's scary during daylight hours. Twice as scary during the dark. And the fires black smoke can make things dark even during the light of day. Even San Francisco had to use headlights all day long from the smoke 170+ miles away, for days.

I'll send Rod right over. You had me at Dessert.

Happy Thanksgiving from me as well.

We are grilling for our evening meal today. I will make mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, a salad ( not romaine) and rolls do go with. This morning I am baking off a Butter Braid for Breakfast, and then I will make a Pumpkin Pie. Rodney wanted me to make oatmeal cookies, but that is a lot of work for me right now. Perhaps I will try to make them Friday. Thing is I have no Lard. My Grandmother's recipe was half lard and half butter.

I wish you all a wonderful Thankful Day !

Oh good, fresh rolls. That will be wonderful ! Those will be much better than canned biscuits.

Pie is in the oven and the kitchen is cleaned up. Resting now. Gee, Sunny, I feel like I am watching the Parade with you. Thanks !

I missed the parade and things. But did not miss dinner. My son only ate mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. So I'll be making him something soon. Maybe scrambled eggs.

Glad to see everyone has had a nice day. Same here. Sunny thinking about you and your cold because we've had a beautiful, sunny, 56 degree day. So nice.

Yesterday I got Christmas decorations out of the attic but didn't get the tree put together today as planned. Hopefully will do it tomorrow.

Went to bed a bit after 10:00. Woke at 1:30 to go to the bathroom. Been awake since. 3 hours off sleep is plenty, right ?

I take turns cursing the Urgent Care facility in Va. and the Dr. I saw here.....At least I have books to read, and pie to eat.

Junie, order a tree from Walmart thumbup

Sheri, that's my plan for Sunday...I need to take out the decor. We buy a fresh tree so that has to wait for a bit.

Tina, I hope you had a nice family day...and prayers for your daughter in need of surgery kissie

It is a 'frost bite warning' day. I hope the wind dies down...GB wants to come for a sleepover later.

well I got a few more hours of sleep. I went to the Grand-kids bedroom. The mattress on the twin bed in there is very firm. It makes it much easier to move around in.

yep, leftovers here as well. Thanks Tina, same to you.

Sunny, sorry for the frigid weather. yes, I may well order a tree..that would sure surprise everyone.

Sheri when you are done at your house come on over and do mine. I am closer to you now.

Hi all.

I went for GB last night and took DD for a quick grocery run. I treated myself to a red poinsettia plant as well. The red ones were 75% off for Black Friday...the other colors are so beautiful though. Oh well, for $5...it sure makes my table look pretty grin

I also got a parcel in the mail yesterday from Junie for my birthday. Customs sure did a number on it. It had a beautiful card, notebook and a special cream set for dry, chapped skin. I was sure in need. kissie Thank you.

Hi all.

DH just left with one of our pigs to take to the butcher.....next Saturday, my freezer will be stocked. It's a strange feeling to farm...I get a sad, yet accomplished sense of it.

We are having a milder few days...I think today is a good day to take out the outdoor lights and string them up somewhere outside. grin

Good afternoon. We had a great time! With it being a different house, the girls were not so sure, but that worked out for me as I was familiar to them. Sunny I had Bagna- Calda I hear the pasta was wonderful but I have not had the Bagna-Calda since my dad passed away, so I had a salad and then that. I was a happy camper.I

I looked it up also...it looks good. Glad you had a good time with family.

GG and I dug out the Christmas lights and of course most were not working again. I will not spend another dime on string lights....we took what we had and wrapped them around a wagon wheel then put the wheel against the front of the house. We will finish our wreath tonight. DH said he was buying one of those projection lights that show a pattern against the house...especially since they are on sale for $14. They look nice against a white house....I won't argue. lol

Today is a clean and mop day...not too much got accomplished inside yesterday.

I am watching all 4 kids today. Apparently the teachers had to go but the kids did not.

That or it is a short inservice and then Val is going shopping.

Henry is a big help so that is good.

Having a helpful big brother is wonderful, Carol.
I've given up trying outdoor decorating, Sunny. We have such strong wind that it takes a lot of hardware to keep stuff together.

We have a whole nativity set and 2 candles for outside decorating. Rod is hoping that none of the neighbors will decorate so he does not have to.LOL. He will be sad when he sees everyone out out decorations.

The girls have discovered that one of the toys plays music. So now they hit the button again and again and dance....... :)

Cute.

Tina, the winds are bad here as well. We have to use metal wire to tie up our lights. All those blow up and plastic type ornaments never last here

Junie, make the grands tell Grampy to decorate grin

Henry would but it is too early yet.

I finally got the girls to bed. Heidi and Nora did not bring their babies here today, so at bedtime, Heidi thought she should have her baby...Henry tried to pacify her with dolls I have here, but that did not wotk.finally singing " rock a baby" did the trick

Hi all,

We got back about 11pm last night, unpacked what had to have and hit our beds... 12 hours on the road is a long trip but we wanted to be home... so today is laudry and unpacking day... put stuff away and think about getting Christmas stuff out but that will wait till Wed.. hubby didn't get his hearing aids before we left so we have appt tomorrow for that, have to set it up with his I phone too.. makes it really convenient to adjust for different background noise situations... so looking fwd to not having to yell...LOL!

We had a wonderful time with the kids and kidlets…Nicoli and I got to go see the Second Incredible Beasts movie... that was fun... nice one and one time... Joe helped Timothy get tires for his car (Mom's old one) the ones on it weren't safe for the winter, will feel better knowing he is safer.. Derek was so funny, he just wanted some new clothes so that will be his Christmas present.. money for that... we do gift cards too, so much easier.... they know what they want so we just put it on cash cards they can use anywhere.. so much easier.. they want to come down for a month next summer too so we will do that and have some quality time then.

Well off to get laundry started and a grocery list too... may need another cup of tea to get moving first... got very stiff in the car for so long..

Glad everyone is safe and Junie get better... being sore all over is not fun... I know... already hit by jacuzzi tub once today.... may do it again tonit…

Hello. finally I am here.
Tina, I have the girls all week, so Shirley can recover from whatever foot surgery she had. Val pretends she Jonesboro g much about it.

Nana: thanks so much for the well wishes. I am glad that you had a good trip and that you are home safe. I will say if I would get I to a tub of shower about every 2 hours, I would be doing better. But who can do that?

Sunny: My legs while a bit better, I am not not up to chasing toddlers. It is a good thing that they are well behaved......for 2-1/2 years old.

Well, it is storming again....school is cancelled. We had no power from 4 am until 11 am. I am thankful for my wood heat...now if I could only convince someone to shovel my snow lol

Man just the thought of shoveling snow tires me out. I'm old. When I was young I'd help a couple of my neighbors out with shoveling when I lived in Rochester, NY.
I woke with a cold. No shoveling one-handed with my other hand holding tissues to my face.

Tina, you have really lived in extremely different climates...which was your favorite?

The snow is so wet that I broke another shovel....they sure don't make them like they used to. I am hoping Santa brings me a new scoop and shovel this year...or DH can have the job haha

Good afternoon. The girls are in bed. Rod just went to Menards and Wal-Mart. I wish I was married to the type of man that I could send to buy a Christmas tree and he woukd, not to mention the tree that he came back with would be fantastic. Oh well.

My Christmas gift from Emily came today. It was "wrapped". You know in an Amazon bag...but hey the bag was pretty. I was hoping it was a new cell phone, but the pkg is too big...oh well.

Your Christmas is coming together, Carol.
Sunny, I was born and raised about ten miles away from here for the most part. I grew up and moved to Connecticut and NY for a few years. Then moved back to California. Besides my home town, I have lived several places in Cal. Of all those places, this is home and I will probably die here. Besides at the rates of things, I don't think I could afford to move.

Gracious Sunny, I vote you do not get a new scoop and shovel this year. THEN your DH can have a new job !

Washing clothes tonight. And watching a Christmas movie.

Tina, I hope you feel better this morning...and yes, home is home.

Junie, DH doesn't have time to shovel...between living at work in this weather and the barn work...it's a fight just to get a few hours of sleep at times. At least I don't have to shovel the roofs every storm anymore.

We ended up with milder weather and only half the snow it called for last night. I am glad, I have a meeting at GG's school after lunch.

Sunny, bet Santa doesn't get many requests for shovels :) I'm trying to finish up Christmas decorating. I just can't seem to get it done. I put Colt's John Deere Gator on a FB yardsale and got 100 messages right away. It sold and was picked up in a hour.

Feel better soon Tina kissie

I have started decorating also Sheri....very slowly though. We take out a few things each day..it adds to the excitement for the grands that way. That stupid 'elf on the shelf' is supposed to make his first appearance of the season in the morning...and the kids will start their chocolate advent calendar as well then.

Dh took home half of our butchered pig last night...the rest will arrive tonight. It gives me a chance to freeze it better with two deliveries. I was surprised to learn we have 200 pounds of pork...sad part is I still have one at the barn with no room for the meat. I'll have to decide to keep her or sell her.

Sunny, how long will that much pork last your family? Wondering if you can wait about selling the other pig until you need meat or is it the older the pig the tougher the meat. Do you regret starting the elf. I think both of my girls are sick of it at this point but once you start it how do you stop it.

I've never used a FB yard sale but it's an amazing thing. I put the other car and it's sold too. He couldn't ride either of these this summer but I had a hard time getting rid of them for some reason.

Tina I've either had a cold or for some strange reason allergies have flared up. The only allergen I think it would be in the winter is mold because of the amount of rain we've had but sadly that's not your situation.

I'll give pork to my mom and DD but it will still last at least 8 months or so. Pigs keep well for a couple of years so we could wait, we could also breed her this spring with a neighbours pig....or just sell her. It will depend on how hard of a Winter we get....pig feed is not cheap either.

I regretted starting the elf after the first week. It's not the real elf....just a cheaper knock off that I found at the local pharmacy. You know, on the day I was told that the elf was supposed to come that night. haha I blame it on the school because they started it...they have one there.

Heading out to pick up GB for a sleepover.

Is any of your pork processed, Sunny? Do you get hams and bacon? I went in with a neighbor on a half pig once. I loved it. But I'm the only one who loves it here so less gets eaten now.

Tina, no...I'd be scared to know the price to smoke process bacon and ham. It was just cut into strip bacon, chops, ribs, hocks and roasts. I cut a third of the roasts into stew meat myself last night. It is a new butcher we used....and he never made my ground pork or stew meat we asked for. That's what we get for using a friend of a friend....he just set up this butcher shop this Fall. I'll not use him again...we paid more than enough that we should have got what we asked for.

The kids are making play-doh ginger bread cookies at the moment....Christmas baking at it's finest lol

Sorry about your incorrect meat prep Sunny. Can you bring your own pork ? Back when TH deer hunt the butcher we had to switch to when ours closed up shop would never add far to our ground deer, so we had to do that ourselves. Since it was already portioned and frozen I just bought plain ground pork and added that to each pound of deer when I cooked it.

Play dough gingerbread cookies..yum! But hey at least they are occupied.

I was all set to make banana bread..2 loaves, and nope no flour..none. I will see if DH will go shopping for me this afternoon. He is busy just now..

Morning Happy December

Just finished doing the end of yr budget... at least for next few months till hubby is on medicare then it will change again... but getting his soc sec now helps a lot... less we need out of our savings.. We are going to start decorating today, got to put reg stuff away and set up tree and village .. have another stand in living room so will make setting up village easier... won't have to sit on floor to do it.

Well have to go start another laundry load, then start putting away stuff and dusting, then hit Hobby Lobby for some snow fabric for the shelves … gotta have the look of snow.. even in the desert!

Have a good day all.... left a plate of banana bread , teas and coffee in the kitchen for snack time.... last one in start the dishwasher! LOL!

Nana
