I had posted this in the last coffee house but noticed we needed to move when I still had time to edit so I copied then deleted then pasted here. Guess I better to back and make sure it deleted.

Speaking of leftovers, you know Johnny doesn't like eating leftovers except for cold friend chicken and vegetable soup. Last week I cooked a roast in the crock pot and 2 days later took the left over roast, shredded it, flowered it, put it in a pot with a little olive oil, stirred it around a minute, added some beef broth, cooked some rice and dumped it in, and told Johnny it was beef stew with rice. He said more than once that it was the best beef stew he'd ever eaten. If he had known it was left over roast he wouldn't have eaten it.

I feel a little better today. Actually planted a flat of pansy's, I bought Saturday, while I was out feeding the cats. I planted them in pots right at the back porch so it didn't take much energy. I do sort of feel exhausted right now though but I had to go back outside with the bug man and then I vacuumed the upstairs. One thing I did this year is to pull out the dead and almost dead stuff from the flower pots before I planted the pansy's. I have a hard time pulling out anything that has any life left it in but today if things looked leggy I pulled it out. Made adding the pansy's a lot easier and things have a much cleaner look.

I use my electric blanket all year round. I just turn it up in the winter. :)

I don't have an electric blanket. I might purchase one this year though. Or two.
I voted by mail. I wish the phone would stop election bugging me now.
Than you for this ch, Sunny.

Yes Sunny, thank you for the new CH.

Voting. I am registered in MO but I will not vote this year. I have no idea who is telling the most truth..(I figure they all lie in some form) and

We now have our own Cable, internet and phone. I sure wish I had a normal landline, but spectrum will have to do. It does sound good though, I must say.

I spent the day outside doing the yard work. I only have a few shrubs to tie up(I ran out of twine) then it is done until spring.

I love leftovers...sometimes I make extra so that I can have it the next day when I cook DH steak or beef roast...I don't like beef(ground beef being the exception). Makes no sense why we raise cattle lol

I never had an electric blanket....how do you wash them?

Very carefully, Sunny. Really, the wiring inside gets quite fragile if washed often. They scare me then. I never wanted my kids to use them because of that. But the main idea is to protect the blankets from rough and dirty situations so it will last.

I have to head out in a few minutes to take GG for routine blood work. Our local clinic does blood work for adults but not children...so guess who gets to drive 45 minutes one way to get it done. Some things make no sense to me.

I'm back home...we went to Walmart on the same trip and picked up a few things. Halloween treats are all bought as well as special treats for my two grandkids.

It has been flurrying off and on all day.

A lot makes no sense to me. I hope you have an easy trip.

There used to be 3 places I could go for my bloodwork. Now, to my knowledge, there is one place and I do not know how long it will be before I can drive there.

Going to the Drs. tomorrow. Sadly it will probably be the last visit that I will have with this Dr. I/we have an appt. with a DO down here. Not real happy with that, but oh well.

I hope the new doctor is an easy switch Carol.

We woke up this morning to everything covered in snow. The kids were excited....the adults, not so much lol

GB is here with me today.

Supper is cooking, then I'll head out to take GB home. DD was going for groceries after work.

I hope the weather is nice this week. I asked for thick pine boards for my b-day(yup, DH said I was crazy as well lol ) so that I can make a tv stand. I am debating between two styles at the moment. I can't wait to get started. grin

I measure more than twice before I cut once lol

My snow has melted...it is raining a bit at the moment. Not sure what today holds....the two storage sheds sure need a cleaning out though.

I'd be scared to drink that much coffee at once but I could probably do a 24 oz soda lol

My hands are so dry that they are cracking...I really need to invest into a better hand cream. Any recommendations?

I get myself down to a couple fairly normal cups in the morning and then slowly add to it until I'm drinking it all day again.

Junie are they coming to go to church with you? And thanks for the time stamp. It's 11:00 PM EST here right now.

Did I mention here that I found what I think are snake eggs and have them in a jar in the kitchen seeing if they'll hatch? Colt and Aubry are watching with me via face time.

I drink Pepsi and water. I try to drink more water than Pepsi but......

About Church. We went every Sunday when we lived in IL. But here we only go when Valarie and her Family go to the one that Valarie belongs to. We have not changed churches yet. As It is go to Brian's church day, we are not going. He is Catholic, we are not. Not to mention we only have 1 car seat in our car. We would need a van and 4 car seats to take the kids with us to church.

Keep us posted on the snake eggs please.

Goodnight once again !

8:50 pm here.

I was out all day working on my stand...and I am froze. It was in the 30's with a strong wind....I wish I had a heated shed/garage. Oh well, we can't have everything.

Do snake eggs need heat to hatch?

9:01 pm central here.

Are you well enough to put yourself out in such weather all day ? Wouldn't working in the barn be better than out in the open ???

I was wondering about snake tagged needing warmth to hatch as well.hatch

We had everyone here for supper tonight. I figured Val and Brian would be tired after working all day at the dinner. They are home now, and Grandma is in her jammies. anyone

Does anyone know where my 2 winter robes are ?? DH complained about my robes being on my bathroom door, I moved them, and now I cannot find them......anywhere...
