Ladies you are both far to kind. Thank you both so much ! I really appreciate the pep talk

I had a lovely time with the girls. If my phone would send videos, I would put one in the Hollow log. They were singing rock a bye baby to their dollies...it was so cute...

And if course I should just go drive around...as long as I had a full tank of gas, I could just drive around until I knew where I was going...

Hi all.

I took GG to the pediatrician on Wednesday to get her first physical assessment. I had been waiting two years to get in and it will take a few months to get it done. In the meantime I was saying how we went to the doctor healthy but would probably take home a bug while there with all the sick kiddies....yup, I took home a stomach virus that took me out of commission yesterday.

We had some snow yesterday...it has melted already. Winter is on it's way.

Good morning !

Tina, no, no kids today. I have them on Wednesday and Thursday each week. Then I do evenings and weekends as needed.

Today I need to try to clean my foot in the great room....now if only someone would come in to move all the furniture......

Here ye, here ye....... I hate autocorrect! I typed in FLOOR several times....

My computer has intelligent autocorrect. This tablet, likes to pull words out of the air, even when I try to change it back to the word I wanted....it insists it knows best. rolz

Hi all,

It is raining here as I type... woke up to it pouring … so decided it was a good day to clean up the office again, it ends up being the dumping room... got all my pictures and albums in 4 containers... and one big Rubbermaid of framed pics.. have another one in garage I need to go thru still... hubby moved tv and printer for me to get to easier too, that helps a lot... it's supposed to rain again tomorrow so he says he will put up ceiling fan for me.. that will be nice too... we moved my sewing machine in here too, found a stereo cabinet on our local neighborhood sale site for 20 dollars. perfect condition and will hold my record player and some of our records.. have over 300 of them so just put favs in it..
put it in living room , looks pretty good in there...
We have to go to the county building on Mon and pay our property taxes, our lender never told us our house payment didn't include our taxes... was that way when we lived in AZ before so I just assumed it still was.. well it's not and they never billed up either.. guess they do that a lot according to our neighbors... you have to call and ask what to pay they say... fine if you know that beforehand... Mon will be fun...
spending money again...

Well off to go take a hot bath.. this wet weather just does a number on my achy body.. love the jacuzzi tub though... does make it bearable...
have a good evening all...

Nana

Nana:
Yes very happy you are getting rain! (So mmm stones) I typed in Sometimes..it is a wonderful thing.

Sorry you didn't understand about your taxes. Can you renegotiate you payments to include the taxes ??

Taxes...in IL in our county, you can pay them in 4 installments. Then when you sell a house the title company takes the taxes due from your check before it is made out to you...easy for the seller.

In MO, .......here anyway,...... you agree on a price, they deduct the taxes that the seller owes from the agreed price, you pay that much less, and then the BUYER gets to pay all the taxes for the year....no matter how long you actually owned your new residence. THEN...guess when taxes are due ?!?? They are due in DECEMBER.all at once !....Grrrrrrrrrr

G'nite everyone..sweet dreams

I pay property taxes twice a year. In Nov and Apr. I own the property outright, no mortgage or anything. It's due next month.

We own ours also. They just do not allow payments/installments in this neck of the woods.

Taxes here are due in May....at the same time we get our income tax return. Apparently though they have put a payment plan option of monthly installments as of last year. That will be a blessing for many. You can't get it in a mortgage as of yet.

The rain has ended for a few days but the wind is fierce today. I had plans for an outdoor clean up and Halloween set up but that will have to wait. I am debating making a run to the hardware store to get some needed supplies.

Aw, that melts my heart.

It is a cool, windy day but a good one to cord up next years wood behind the shed. I am really tackling that Winter prep list earlier this year.

Sunny I've heard and read that we're all supposed to have an earlier and harsher winter this year. Probably a good thing you're tackling things early. Hope you had a lovely birthday.

Junie I'm not a baby person but when the babies grow to the toddler stage I just love the things they say and do. Just want to squeeze them. I think I kissed the skin off Colt's face and entire head last week. So far he's not complaining about it but I'm sure the time will come.

I'm sick today and stayed home from church. I thought I was having chills until I went downstairs and found out that it's 69° down there and it feels very cold. I put on a long sleeved shirt and may get back in the bed.

Thanks Sheri.

Yes, the Winter is supposed to be a harsh one for here I heard...mind you, any Winter here is harsh lol

The wood is all piled and the mess is raked up. I got the garden plot cleaned up and cut back two other flower beds. Another full day outside is all I need to be ready for Old man Winter thumbup

Well, I have officially had this sore throat for a month...antibiotics, and even raw honey hasn't helped.

Good Morning! Wel!, My Christmas book is readying go ( I make out pages every year to keep track of what I have bought, mostly for fun, but it has helped me keep track of expenses in the past. It also helps me avoid repeats on gifts.

Raining here, but that will help the fertilizer that Rod put down.

Rod cut down some overgrown yews that we had up against the house. It looks much nicer in my landscaping now. I will need more rock next year, but for now we are good.

Well we are in 6B now..we were ( to my notion) right between 6A and 6B in Illinois.

I will have to go by what my DD says to see if this winter is any harder on me this year. I am hoping it is milder...But I guess I can hope all I want, huh ?

Good morning. Coffee at hand.

I was cold this morning. I think it is time for another blanket on the bed.
