Good Morning. I am awake, I guess by habit. I had hoped to sleep in some today. I have the day "off".

I took my 2 plants. from the porch out to the rain. I hope it rains long enough to do them both some good.

I wish you all a wonderful Wednesday.

Junie that sunporch is the perfect place for the gang to hang out and play. (looking at your pictures again) I hope you love your new house. You should put your Christmas cactus out in the rain like Johnny's alteration lady.

Have you checked around for a ceramic group?

Tina do you have much humidity or is it dry heat? When we lived in Arizona it would be over 100 degrees but without high humidity and it didn't seem so hot. The humidity here, not the temperature, makes being outside unbearable sometimes.

Darbi came over yesterday and we laid on the couch and ate toast and green beans. She is sooooo laid back it doesn't make sense that she's a good ball player. We watched a bunch of episodes of Friends on Netflix and that's all she wanted to do. She goes back to college Monday.

Hi all. I have been busy.

We have half our hay in for the Winter...waiting on a stretch of dry weather to get the other half cut and baled. We are under a thunderstorm watch today...it has been rumbling all day off and on.

One of our recliners broke beyond repair yesterday...good thing is that I stripped the springs out of it and fixed the matching one up as good as new.

Sheri: I agree, the Sunporch IS the perfect place for the kids and their toys. Plus if I am running late, all I have to do IS close the door to the porch and my house looks good. Double yay !

I have not checked for a ceramic group b/c I have not learned to navigate in Cape Giardeauyet. That is where it might be.I

Sunny yay on the work being done.......... half is a very good start. As a side note, my DH would love to have you as a wife. You do a lot of heavy work around the house. Your DH knows how lucky he is, right ?

Thundering here but no rain since the morning.

Good afternoon.
Yes, Sheri, it is a dry heat for the most part. It makes life easier for sure.

We got some nasty rain and wind...it sure cooled it down quickly. The lightning and thunder is over for the day thankfully.

Junie, if I would have been smart...I wouldn't have learned to do heavy work in the first place. lol To this day, I still regret learning to drive the old front end loader.

I wish I could send some rain to you Tina kissie

It is raining here and I am not complaining...we have been getting such heat that any rain is a welcome sight. My neighbor's had to go past 250 feet with their new well to hit water...and their gallons per minute is only half of what we have. A great expense with major disappointment for them. Once you pass 200 ft here you get into a salt vein.

I have a dr appt this afternoon so DD and kids will follow to go to Walmart. DD lucks out that I got the last appt of the day so I have time to pick her up at work on the way.

Roast does make the house smell good. Do you add potatoes and carrots?

I"m watching The Guernsey Literary and potato Peel Pie Society on Netflix. I loved the book.

Just a check up, Tina. All is well.

Sorry for the loss of your family member Nana. I understand on the funerals this year..it has been non-stop here. I have an Uncle-in-law in palliative care as I type.

The trip went well, DD loaded up on supplies and I got a new mat/rug for the entrance on clearance.

I cook my roast in a slow cooker too. Makes it so tender.

Junie, the book started in WWII when people didn't have butter and sugar and the stuff to make a pie good so a man made a potato peel pie. It's a great book to read and now it's a movie on Netflix.

Hi all. I spent the day yesterday with yard work...it got a little out of hand on me with all this rain. I am caught up now and today I'll tackle the house while DH is out with a farmer friend.

We got another field cut last night so hay making waits ahead for Tuesday.

I made up the 'Fall to-do' list this morning...I think it scared DH lol

Have a nice Sunday everyone.

We are "home" in Worden. I am washing clothes. I sure miss having a washer and dryer of my own. It will be nice to have new ones when we sell the house here.
