The people where I used to work gave me a statue that they think is a flamingo but it's not. It doesn't have webbed feet. I'm wondering if it's a crane or egret. I'll have to post a picture later.

Cranes and egrets don't have webbed feet but a Heron does.

tam, it does sort of look like that. Is that a crane? I'm just too lazy to go downstairs and take a picture.

I misread and thought you typed...'it does have webbed feet'.
That was a pic of a heron, a crane and egret are the same except they don't have webbed feet. Sometimes I confuse things even more.

if not the same closely related
I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once.

no, I'm still confusing you
I've got to learn to explain myself.
That pic was of a Heron~it has webbed feet.
Egrets and cranes aren't the same but look similiar. I think the difference is in the way they fly with their necks.

No. Generally webbed feet only appear on animals that swim during any time in their lives. cranes do not swim,But walk.

That statue broke years ago. Looks like I never posted a picture.
