OH MY, Sunny !! I hate that--I clicked on an add once--I did so because it had a strange looking "animal/person on it--I barely got away in time--I have no idea why it too the site so long but I was very lucky....that and my anti-virus thing saved me as well-----often it does not,,, One has to wonder what these people get out of destroying a persons computer & such.,..

The storms brought a small tornado a two hr drive from here the other day...thankfully it hit a wood lot and not residential land.

The power went out morning. I hope that's not how the whole day is going to go.

It works out well. The Sunroom is basically a toy room. Which is good as the kids play where the toys are. My plants are out there also..and while I am not real sure that they like the heat a sun room affords, I think they are doing ok.

And the other good thing is they settled right into sleeping in my not-so-dark children's bed room that I have set up for them. (nap time you know)

Washing my clothes and my DD's as well today at her house.

]I hope you get paid something for this. At least to offset you r cost for feeding, etc.

nope not paid--but she does "do" for me. she brought me home tonight and will pick me up in the morning to take me to a family party back home, she set up my kitchen before we were moved here, she set up a number of my beds..and I could go on & on...plus they are my grands......sweet dreams to you all. Hi all.... It is a preserving day here.

I have made sweet pickles and relish so far today...my garden is beyond amazing this year Mustard pickled beans are the next chore in a few minutes.

Yay! Congrats on the garden, Sunny. That is exciting.

Thanks Tina...every bottle I preserve is a blessing when Winter is upon us.

We are baling hay today. We spent the afternoon working on equipment yesterday...I finally got to use the acetylene torches. I'm such a tom-boy.

Going our for breakfast with the inlaws… have to wait for them to drive into town... 20 minutes! I am with you about caring for the grands... Junie, I realized I had done it for ours for the better part of the last 20 years, but was a joy most of the time... enjoy them while they are little, we sure did... all teenagers now, sigh!

Joe to milo for his walk before we leave, he has met most of the neighbors walking him... our next door neighbor told us yesterday she was having trouble seeing out of her driveway cause the neighbor next to her has a huge bush in the way, told her to go ask if they would trim it, turned out he couldn't do it cause he had back surgery, so Joe told her he would do it for them if okay with them, so that's his project for the day today after we visit with relatives... gotta look our for neighbors...

Junie, I have a hobby for your DH. Send him here to fix our aging farm equipment...the round baler broke on us today. So small squares had to be made instead...tomorrow shall begin with more repairs on it. I wonder why we farm some days.

I'll have him packed by 9 tomorrow morning. Just make sure you have sweets on hand and he will be content.

DH is gone to get a steel bar so that we can reinforce the broken part. We have another large field down to be baled today and we are both too tired to attempt the small bales. I guess that's the way it is when all we can afford to buy is the leftovers from other farmers. Oh well, years ago we did all small bales...we both had more energy back then. Someone took one of the batteries out of this Energizer Bunny

Good late morning. We actually have a cold snap. It only reached 91* yesterday. Supposed to be similar today.

Bstteries..someone removed all of mine and put half of the wrong size back in...this is just wrong. We should be able to do more when we are old and have the time..

No, don't feel sorry for me. I am accustomed to the heat. This morning I woke to 69* and need a sweat shirt. It finally warmed up enough to take it off about an hour ago. I don,t know if it will even reach yesterday's temps. I like it.

Well I am glad that the high temps are not so hard on you Tina. I guess it is all what we get used to.

Watching the kids again tomorrow. Then Wednesday I will not AND then Thursday I will.

Rod woke up 25 min. Early so he could wake me, make coffee and tell me he is going back to bed....like I did not need another 30 minutes of sleep....

I love spending time with the " real dolls", of course, ...But I am way sad about not getting to go to ceramic's and spend time with my friends.

Was napping while the kids are, and a telemarketer ( a number from yesterday) woke me. Then a showing of our IL house was cancelled.....
