I'll pick up some copper powder today. just in case...I cannot lose my beans.

I have to run errands later....not that I want to, it is supposed to hit near 100* at supper time.

June you're confusing me. Hope you don't get lost because I have no idea where to find you.

I think I posted here about Dr. Dan, my new dentist, who took over after my good dentist retired. He told me about all the plastic surgery his girlfriends dad could do to make me look so much better. I'm too old to call my dentist Dr. Dan. Anyway my hygienist retired too so I started looking for another dentist and thankfully found one in Monroe. I went 2 weeks ago for my first cleaning - thankfully - because day before yesterday one of my wisdom teeth chipped. I called my new dentist, made an appointment for 7:00 AM today and was out by 7:30. Love it.

sorry to confuse.

Most every Friday we go to Illinois so Rod can cut the grass and so we can bring another truck load of our stuff from "home" (read Worden) and bring it to Missouri and our house here. WE have been making the trips mostly all in ONE day...but I think from now on we will go Thursday afternoon & come home Friday afternoon.

Most of the other time we are in Kelso Missouri, Our address is Scott City though...Long story.....When it is all straight I will let you all know what is what,

well the first guy who looked at it wanted to buy it for like $10,000 less, and then make it contingent on him selling his house, which was not even on the market yet, and on and on. we came back with a counter offer which the rejected. next guy said the price was just what it should be and that is all we have heard...so it is still up for sale.

thanks for asking though.

Sheri, what kind of dentist makes a comment on plastic surgery? He should be reported to the ethics board.

It rained all night...thunder and lightning as well. It was nice to have it cool down a bit.

I took DD to town and gave her GG's school list. She bought everything....clothes and all. Only thing left to get is new sneakers..they had none left in her size.

Strange thing is....I could not find copper powder anywhere. Any advice for blight treatment would be appreciated. grin

I'm going to try the tbsp of baking soda/gallon of water mix. Strange thing is that the wilt is in my bush beans and not the climbers. I think I'll buy treated seed next year....just in case.

That is what I use for powdery mildew problems. I hope it works for your wilt. It will not harm the plants.

I used it as well for powdery mildew before...can't hurt to try for wilt.

I remember my grandfather using copper powder in the garden as a child...the bean seeds used to be pre-treated back then. They were a pretty pink color.

Oh dear Sunny. I think copper spray or copper powder is the only thing that will really help. Hope I'm wrong about that and the baking soda works.

A weird dentist is one who tells his patients they need plastic surgery. He told me more about himself than I would ever need to know. I'm not sure if he's just the nervous type who needs to continuously talk or if I just look so bad he thought his girlfriends dad would help me. Wish I would have thought to ask if he could get me a discount :)

Colt is coming tomorrow. Will be a busy week.

It'll be a two week wait with an order Junie...I might take a trip into town this week if need be. They had none at the local store...I hate having to drive an hour one way just to get to town.

I had the two grands Friday into yesterday...when I dropped GB off with his mother, GG decided to stay with them as well for the night. I have a day to myself and it is raining out. I'll probably end up cleaning and mopping lol

Well, yes I guess a drive is in order....sorry for the long turnaround time. We can order and have something at the store next day..or do the ads say. But I think if I am gonna order something, they can bring it to my door...

DH says we are going to Wal-Mart he needs a new alarm clock. It seems someone put his in a box and set it out in our garage. The heat got it and he had to throw it out. I know I did not, it was just setting in a box with other random things. I wrapped all the things that I packed and sealed the box.

I think I will also buy groceries.

Yes..my daughter did much of that when we were not living here yet. It saved my back a lot. I changed the order of what was in each cabinet. Yesterday I finally found my Pyrex containers and my 9 x 13 baking dishes. I think I am close to done with the kitchen.

Today I am sitting with the girls. Val has to prepare her school room. She is also gonna try to take Henry school shopping.!

I wish you all a great day !

Sounds like things are moving along Junie.

It is a windy day here...a welcome thing to see. I just put a pork roast in the oven, got to cook part of the meals before the heat sets in later. Laundry is going as well, I love the feel/smell of wind dried sheets. grin

How is the weather where you are Tina?

I would pay well for someone to put up a clothes line for me. I love to have air dried items also.
At the farm Rod put one up for me W/O me asking. Not since...p

Overcast here today. It may or may not rain/storm. We shall see..

I especially loved to use my clothesline in the spring and fall when there was a breeze.

No wrinkles but yet the clothes smell so wonderful.

one hour later......I am coming in to wish you all a Good Night & Sweet Dreams
and
to say this CH is closed and that I will open a new one...see you there....
