Sorry you feel bad carol. I can"t take cough meds so I know it"s horrible to have a cough.

It was a balmy 80 something here. Wish I had of felt well enough to go out and weed the rocked area.

I have been sitting in my recliner for hours. I cough and cough and cough. I will not go to bed as I think that Rod is actually getting some sleep.

It's lovely outside today. Oh to have it stay this way. This morning was even a little nippy. It's obvious just looking around the yard that the plants are thankful for the break. Hell fire is returning tomorrow though.

I got up, put on makeup, flat ironed my hair, then didn't go to church because I feel so bad. I do look lovely though. (how many of you believe that :) ) Guess I've got a virus. Today was communion day, which thankfully, we went and set up yesterday. Hated to miss it.

My computer broke yesterday. I have been trying to log in with my son's iPad. I finally got it right.l will buy a new one tomorrow.
I hope today finds everyone well. Or more well than they have been.

Ladies: Sunny cannot get into the forum. James gave me info for her to get her back in but I cannot do that on this tablet. So, when my DD ever gets my computer figured up correctly in MO, here, will get it to her. She will be back.

I've been out watching the hummingbirds. Going to be a hot one here too. 94.

Went to the doctor today because I've been dizzy. Saw the nurse practitioner instead of my regular doctor. Blood pressure 100/62, which is normal for me. Temp 97.2, which is normal for me. Weight 123 which is a 3 pound weight loss since June 18 when I went to get my thyroid med renewed, which is probably due to working in the garden in the blazing heat. Lungs clear. Ears clear. Neurological exam normal. So she says to me and this is EXACTLY " Gee wish I could tell you what you've got going on. Keep us posted." And starts gathering up her stuff to leave the room. I asked what about anemia as in low hemoglobin - maybe we should do a few labs. "Your labs have been fine for a while so I don't think we need to do that today." So I asked "at least write for an antibiotic just in case there's something going on with my ears that you're not catching since I DO have a history of inner ear issues." "Sure, I can do that." So I picked up an antibiotic and we shall see. She acted like she didn't care one way or another.

LOL she is related to the "whatever she was" that saw me since my DR was not "in". Did not care at all...only gave me antibiotics b/c I had red ear...and call her if I did not get better..well, 102*F is not better but why call her ??? I think I am now finally getting beytwr. Give it a week, Sheri. My sister is sick too.

I am glad you went. Sorry you had that experience. That is sad and I think I would complain about it.

Well, I would but since I shall have to find a new Dr. Again soon, I will let it slide....

Good morning. I hope to get out today. I need things.

I am back and exhausted. It takes so little to tire me out these days.
But I got my banking done and vehicle stuff taken care of. Then went to a store I don't get to very often any mor since Teddy is out of school. I stopped by a second store and then home. I fixed lunch for Ted and I and I'm thinking it's about time for a nap.

In Worden now....Went to ceramics, and had a nap..

Now I wonder what I am going to do ???

Did your carpets get cleaned Friday?

Yes they did, don't look to bad now not they are not soft anymore. I am hoping a last vacuuming will cure that.

Got a few tomatoes, squash, okra and cucumbers out of the garden this week. It's not going to be a bumper year though because of the rain, cold, extreme heat in that order.

Good morning. It is another hot one. I'm hoping to get a few things done in spite of the heat.

Thankfully it rained yesterday evening. We sat on the screened porch and watched and listened to it. We had forgotten how it looks and sounds. But of course I've covered my tomatoes so they only got what blew in. Guess I might have to water them today.

Junie I read where Build A Bear was a mad house. My niece, in Atlanta, said there was a 3 hours wait. She didn't wait.

Build a bear was all over the news last night.
A warm day was had by all (here).

We got there with the 3 two yr olds, and their 4 year brother... The lines were ridiculous. But a man was handing out $15.00 vouchers so we got 4 and left. A friend of one of Val's friends said she (somehow) got into the mall at 6:45 am and still had to wait 3 hours to get her child's bear. Apparently TPTB were not prepared for such a turn out...in what universe was that not predictable??

We have to go back up that way the 20 th so we will use our vouchers then.

Thanks! We were too ! We had lunch and then we went to The Magic House in St. Louis. I thought the kids were too young...But nope. They loved it !!!!!
