Hello I'm new here. I have a question concerning my lavender plant that I purchased a few weeks ago. It was doing really well at first, now it's leaves are starting to turn brown and it doesn't look healthy. I put it on top of my TV but moved it this morning to in front of my patio window it faces east. Was it not getting enough light? I was watering it when it felt dry to the touch. Not enough water? Can it be saved? Any help would be appreciated.

I love to collect flowering house plants. And I am an avid hobby photographer. My specialty is Macro photography. But love to shoot scenery, plants, landscapes, animals, birds, flowers.

Hello & welcome.

Lavender is a Mediterranean plant & so likes it Sunny--Hot & Dry.
to that end, water the plant when the soil is almost dried out.
You can try to clip off the dead pieces.

It likes rich, well drained soil, and likes to be placed in a sunny location. To keep the roots out of standing water you could place pebbles in the drip tray and place the pot on top of the pebbles. This will help keep the roots out of any leftover water.

I hope this helps.

I would pot the better-looking ones into bigger pots. Cut off the brown leaves/parts.

It might be because of root rot problems.
