Today I got a pedicure, and then went and did some shopping and met my youngest's MIL. we had lunch & then she took some clothes from Valarie to give to Emily for her kids. The MIL is going to visit Emily & her husband the end of June. Lucky Mom she is.

Well it looks like we've had our rain for the year. I figured it would happen this way. No rain in sight for a long time. It's either feast or famine. At least we're not in a drought anymore.

Johnny had an educational class for the ministers today so we were up at 7 to be at church by 10:00. It was supposed to be over at noon with lunch served by Tina and me but one of the ministers kept asking questions so we didn"t get out of there til almost 3. I was ready to throat punch him in the name of the Father Son and Holy Ghost. He does that every time. I"m thinking he makes himself seem important in his own mind if he asks questions or he"s just an idiot. I came home and took a nap. Now I have a stomach ache probably from being so hateful.
Going is back from the cruise, they"re moving Monday and Colt is coming to my house for a few days. Yippee.

well we just gave away my grandfather's oak desk. Good news is it went to my cousin's daughter. She is family too...and that makes me happy that it is staying in the family....

Hi all. The dead have been buried, the sick are in the hospital, GB has gone home with his mom.....and I am so tired that it is not funny. It seems that getting out of the house and dealing with people wears me out more than a full day's hard work. DH say's it's because I am getting crankier, the older I get

Hi all. It seems that getting out of the house and dealing with people wears me out more than a full day's hard work. DH say's it's because I am getting crankier, the older I get DH is sadly "Mistaken" You tell him that you cannot do everything for everyone as you used to. Then say you are cranky b/c of comments like the one he handed out---(well perhaps do not say that last comment) It is going to storm here soon so if I do not get back tonight---That is why..

Today the procedure scheduled before Momma's ran in to trouble and so mom got hers done 1 hr & 45 minutes later than she should have. she was tired & hungry by the time we went home.
Rod painted the Hall here today. I just finished helping him remove all of the tape. Another job done-----

Well I cleaned out my bathroom, all except what I needed to get by with, and then I made a big dent on the spare room and the huge closet in there. I am going to miss that closet.

Not much for the yard sale this time.
I know I said I was not ever going to have another yard sale. But I have too much junk.
There is not a lot though, I must say....

12:17 AM Colt and I have been having a blast. Ginger has her house all set up and is coming tomorrow and will go home Sunday. There's a boy Colt's age right across the street and 2 more around the corner. They all go to the school Colt will attend. I'm glad he'll have some neighborhood friends.
Yard sales are hard work but someone else will love your junk. My yard is not good for a yard sale.

Ging and Chris picked up Colt and are at her dads for the night. Shelley is having them all over for Father's Day lunch and then they're going home. Chris has to be at his new job Monday. I'm so happy they're close.

Well, we went to church, we ate lunch out and we will buy Dinner out. Dinner will be Pizza from a local Pizzeria.
Toppings will be Rod's choice..I asked him what he wanted & he said this particular Pizza--so that is what we will do.
Both girls called him & spoke to him a long time--about 10 -15 minutes apart, so I think they had their schedules worked out------LOL
That sure made him happy.

No I didn't eat with the girls and their dad today. He got to have them all to himself. Ginger, Chris, and Colt dropped by here around 4:30 and then headed on home. He's going to vacation Bible school next week with his friend across the street and I've got Bible school at our church next week too. I would have begged for him to stay here but we're going to meet them at Myrtle Beach next Friday and I don't want to be exhausted.
It is soooo hot and dry here now. Why can't the rain every even out?

96*F here.. Rod needs a new computer but that will not happen. My laptop is getting up there in age, and I think that when I get a new one I will be looking at a desk top.

well a made a very large dent in my bedroom, I am now on the closet. I just had tireness hit me, so I will soon be going to sleep. Mom's Drs. appt. is at 6:45 tomorrow.....who gets up this early ??? The DR. lives at least 1 hour away...

We were at the Hospital by 6:45 and home q bit before 8 am. when I hit the house here at 2:30 I had a headache and slept for 2-1/2 hours. I still do not feel so good--- I am still tired and have allergy issues I guess.

Tina, no we have not. We need to empty it, then clean and then we wil! List it. We have spoken to a realtor, but with all our "stuff" and how long it took us to find a house, we thought we would buy a house and move 90% of our things first.
We close the 28th then we will move the largest part of our stuff the 30th & then Monday we will begin to clean this house. We will spend half of the time here, and half of the time in Kelso until this house sells. Or one of us will live here and one of us will live there...depending on what is best.

1:56pm. We"re all at North Myrtle Beach for the week and we"re having a blast. We just came in from the beach for lunch.
Tina was there a bat in your house? We have lots in our yard at night.
Sunny bet a lot of people have a hard time finding care for their children when daycare is closed. You're a good grandmother.
As far as Bible School, for the most part it was great but I did it when my children were small and I"m to the point where I think some of the parents should step up to the plate now. It"s the same people who are teaching a Sunday school class who also end up working Bible school. I"m backing out of it.

Sheri, I agree with you on the Bible School comment. for 18 years I taught Sunday school and most always Bible school as well. Then there were things like Sausage Supper, Apple Butter making/selling, and Choir. It is now some of the younger ones turn.
