it is a good map---and clear also..

BUT I will say this---I usually wait & put my hummingbird feeders out the first week of May...well unless I see a Hummer looking around for some food.

Yes I will too once I hear the constant rains have stopped. I "think" I saw a hummer this morning flying around my seed feeders.

Wow. I haven't seen any yet. Johnny brought the feeders in this afternoon. If I can muster up the motivation I'll fill them up.

I don't think weather keeps birds from migrating but I haven't seen a hummer yet. They're late this year.

Saw one today.

Also saw a pileated woodpecker. The 3rd I"ve ever seen in the yard. They"re so big. Also have bluebirds nesting.

wow good for you !!

I have nesting seed out for my birds. AND I have my grapevine wreath up so birds will hopefully come & make a nest. BUT I have seen no hummers--save the one early guy.

I still have seen no Hummers, but I finally put out my hummingbird feeders. ( 3 weeks later here know) I have 2 out & I may well put out a third...we shall see.

Does anyone leave their wild bird feeders up all summer ?? I usually only put them out during the fall & winter and then in the spring take them down in favor of the hummingbird feeders, but now I am wondering if I should leave them up year round.

Are they late for you? Mine have come, left for a little while, then came back yesterday. That's their usual pattern here. They'll leave again when it gets extremely hot and then return then leave for the year.

There have been years I"ve only seen a few. Not sure what makes the difference. I learned on that nature show that they mate for life.
