ok cleared out my cookies and as finally able to order some photos on Shutterfly. I love that site--it is how I keep current photos of my Grands in the frames I have for each on the wall.

Good Morning. I baked 2 pies this morning....to go with the 2 I baked last night. as soon as they are cool I will take them to church for our sausage supper. the church will buy the food to prepare for the meal but then the members donate the pies that will be dessert.

When I get home, I will begin to prepare (cut up the wings, & peel potatoes) the food for supper tonight. I will have it all ready so it is not so much work tonight.
I am making Rod a special meal to celebrate his Birthday (which was Friday) I wanted to keep his retirement & his Birthday separate this year.

Tina, I am so happy that you are feeling better. And to have it NOT get worse is wonderful Good for you!

Yes it sure does. It hurt me very badly to take them ALL to church...I LOVE pie, esp. cherry, and I made one to take to church.
There is a cake on the counter now cooling b/c DH prefers cake. But I am right there with you, Tina. Mmmm Pie !!!

I don't care much for pie...guess I won't be invited to eat with you all

We split the firewood yesterday....it is raining today. I will make the Halloween fudges since it will be an indoor day.

You can come & eat with us, Sunny. You can share some pf Rodney's cake....you know if there is any left...(bring the fudge with you, we can make allowances....)

overcast here today. I am taking my mom to the Drs. this afternoon. I hope it is not rainy then.

Tina, you do not "have" to get anything done--well unless it is absolutely necessary--you know, food prep or laundry....anything else can wait for later---(that is my story & I am sticking to it!)

The sun is "trying" to come out. and when this load of laundry is done I will be ob my way.

I made three kinds of fudge and did up the treat bags....I'll pick up Grandboy at lunch time. Once GG gets home from school, we'll head out to a few houses. Much to DH's dismay...he has to stay here to hand out treats.

It's Halloween. But more importantly it's 'fueling up' day. Because our gas prices are going up tomorrow. By 12+ cents a gallon. I hope it goes for what it's suppose to go for.

For "my" Halloween I went with my sister to get a pedicure !!

WE leave tomorrow to go to my daughters to watch the 3 girls for 5 days--fun fun !!!

Rod & I are going---mind you, help-wise, it would be better if Tara (my sister) & I were going, but Rod & I are going.
My sister on the other hand is going to Disney World in Florida with her 2 kids & their families.

Her DD & her family are flying down tomorrow--& then her son & his family and my sister & her DH are all driving out together Thursday. They are all staying there together....Grammy & PoPo will go to Disney 1 day & then baby site the other days--& do some site seeing.

I only had 20 kids for Halloween...it was a quiet year.

Today I am taking the grands to the eye doctor for their annual check up.

Hi all.

GG's eye exam was perfect but GB has an issue, he has one eye that turns in a bit. They said it might be pseudo-stigmatism because they see it a lot in aboriginal kids(which his father was)...but we will have to travel to a specialist for an exact diagnosis. Which I might add is a 4 hour drive from here.

We are getting a mix of flurries/rain here. GG is home with an ear infection...a round of antibiotics for her this time.

Good morning. I've been up for a few hours.
My older son had strabismus (a kind of wandering eye), Sunny. It was a relatively easy surgical fix.
It is an ozfest/knotfest weekend. That means traffic nastiness out there and we stick inside. Or at home mostly. I wouldn't want to be out in the weather anyway. It's supposed to be drizzly or rain. Who would want to be out?
