Well we went early today but the heat was unreal. I took a bonnet of mine with me today, since my hair is so thin. Well all it did was make my head so hot that I could not deal with the heat well. All I bought was a vinyl table cloth for the tables when we have our family party. I saw a few things today that I would have liked to have but I really did not want to carry them around. Rod is cutting grass now--& i am chilling inside

grass cut, grass swept, supper done. I am headed to bed everyone.

Today I have a doc appt at lunch...then Grandboy has his first speech therapy assessment in the late afternoon. That will take up all my day....a trip to the dollar store is planned in between.

It seems it is always something doesn't it?? Thank goodness for the dollar store !!!

I went out for a little while today and it exhausted me. I'm having a time getting over this cold or whatever it is.

Our weather has warmed backed up and it hasn't rained since Irma came through.

I am sorry Sheri. There is nothing much worse than a summer cold---even if it is in early fall. Feel better soon.

Tomorrow will be the last warm day for at least a few days---I think from Wednesday to Saturday are supposed to be cooler. I wish fall weather would hurry up & get here & stay here---until say next June when it gets warm again.

Our Fall weather has hit...it is a nice time of year. The leaves are turning colors steadily.

We are watching Hurricane Maria's tracks.....she is coming up the Eastern North side.

About the Hurricane. My DD who lives in Virginia says they are not really worried as they are about 30 miles from Washington DC & so inland some. I hope you are inland enough too.

I hope it leaves you alone also, Sunny. It sure looks like it will if it stays on the predicted path.
