Tina, I'm having a lazy day today. No special reason, just because I can and I'm thankful that I can. I don't know how people get totally use to not working because in the back of my head I keep thinking I should be looking for a job but I'm not. I stay busy helping Johnny with church stuff because he's actually working 2 full time jobs with the church and his plumbing. The man doesn't even have his name on the side of his work van anymore and didn't even put it on the last van he had, so it's been about 6 years since he's had his name on his van, but his work phone still rings constantly. He says he wants to cut back on plumbing but the calls just won't stop. I do need to clean up and vacuum.

WOW...Johnny must be a very good plummer. Good for him.

Yea, I like Lazy days..I could be/should be vacuuming today, but I am not. I am however washing clothes & so plan on making applesauce later in the afternoon.

Stuffed peppers are on the agenda for today's supper.

Good plumbers are worth their weight in gold.

Hi all..I've been busy, too busy for my liking.

Good afternoon. Had a nice day at ceramics today. It was my day to buy donuts.

We had meatloaf (Johnny's favorite) and salad for dinner.

Tina, do you stuff your peppers with rice? Will Teddy eat that?

I don't make stuffed peppers. I am the only one who would eat them here. So I don't bother. But I love them with rice. That is the part my kids don't like (well, and the peppers). I really love my carbs; rice, pasta, potatoes and breads. Oh, I'm getting hungry.

I only had 3 peppers, so I also made cabbage rolls..and those were easier to eat anyway. I think next time I will make just the cabbage rolls.
and FYI: I only eat 1/2 of the green pepper..and I cut it up really well & then mix it with my meat/rice mixture.

and Tina, why not make the filling w/o adding the rice--then make 1/2 of it up--then add rice & make the rest for you...problem solved.

I've got some sort of cold which woke me up during the night with a tiny, aggravating cough and just feeling bad. I can't say I'm actually sick but I just don't feel good today. Don't even feel like washing my hair this morning.

Good morning. I almost forgot to come in. It is overcast and thinking of drizzling and just seemed earlier than it is. My plan is to bank this morning. But I may take a little snooze before I go out.

I went out to get some blood work done then I did some shopping & stopped at the pharmacy.

I came home, made mysellf breakfast for lunch & now after checking up in here, I will go watch my soap. A person that was a fan favorite is back. I am so happy--or will be if it is found he is the actual "Jason"

I read back....now I want stuffed peppers also

GG came home from school with the sniffles...the joys of school.

DH and I spent the day replacing two windows...I forgot how much of a job that is, Tomorrow they get new trim as soon as DH goes to pick it up.

OK everyone---just let me know when you will be here to pick them up & I will have an order ready for each of you.

Good morning, at least for another 30 minutes here. I tried for an early nap to see me through the drizzles. But the drizzle outlasted the nap.
I want to cook something so that'll be next.

it is supposed to be around 95*F here today--I think Mother Nature is all messed up.

Good morning. I am up and attem today. I have been trying to hurry this month along. Every time I've looked at the calendar, I've been on the next week. I have to slow down my space warp by seven days. It is an odd feeling.

GG feels a bit better today...the fevers gone.

It's a nice windy day...I've already cut the grass. I need to start cutting back the faded perennials in a bit. The frosts have hit them hard. Fall is really in the air...I love it.

I am glad GG is better.
