Ok. I have a jade plant Ive had for years. I put it outside aboit a week ago because some clippong i took and planted outside look so healthy and I hoped it would brighten up my big jade. But...I thinknits mad at me. Its turning red and orange and the leaves are falling off. See the pic. Ot also has lots of new growth and the tips of the green leaves are turning red like its happy but...then the dropping leaves dont seem happy. Any thoughts?

Well here are a few ideas:

Dropping leaves could mean your plant is too wet or too dry, or it could need more sunlight or it could need more nitrogen.

Is it raining a lot where you live ? usually Jade plants like to be thoroughly watered, and then not watered again until the soil feels dry...
and they like direct sunlight a half day or more.

Also what is different between the inside of your house & the outside. is it the temperature?

someone else may come along as well to give you ideas.

I read somewhere that said it might need better lighting. I've never had one of these and it seems happy with the coloring but not so happy with the leaves dropping. What i read also said that dropping leaves could mean not enough water. So pretty much agreeing with JunieGirl
