Good morning. I slept well myself. It is already hot here. It is not a good day for moving. And I don't plan on doing much of it. It is a cold food kind of day.

I guess it is hot everywhere. I hate the humid heat we are getting at the moment.

Yesterday's trip went good. I went to Walmart to pick up a few things, then decided to check out their garden center. It was a mess, the girl said that all items (with no identification tags) was $3. I picked up three that were lilacs(I could tell from the leaves). 3 shrubs for $9 is quite a deal. Then I get home and upon lifting them up could see that they were marked with the variety name under the pots....great thing is that the three are different. White, pink and a purple

3 lilacs..YAY for you !! And such a bargain too !! I am envious of the pink lilacs-----sounds dreamy. IF I DD's lilac bush ever blooms it will be white---it did bloom back at the farm a bit & it was white----
BUT back to you, to have all 3 is an awesome thing !!! YAY for You !!!

Good morning. I am not going anywhere today. I am hiding from the heat.

well !! Rod woke me up this morning & we went to Lowes & bought my hose reel & a new hose. Then we went to a produce farm about 1 hr away from us & bought Lodi apples, peaches & a qt. of blackberries. The apples are now ALL applesauce-- I used to made Lodi applesauce when we lived at the farm..we had our own tree.

BUT my new hose had a cut in it and so we had to drive back--and NOW the hose reel is hard to use--as it is too small..it is the box kind, was not cheap & was supposed to hold 175 ft---well it is holding 100 ft & barely doing that---but oh well---it is what it is--and people wonder why it is so hard for me to make a decision--it is b/c things like this always seem to happen to me.

but oh well,,happy belated birthday to me....

Hi all.

I was gone all day yesterday...my SIL threw a grad party for her twin grands. Today I am hosting a party for my grandboy.

I slept poorly and woke to a missing kid this morning. I knew Teddy was up in the night but couldn't find him this morning. Finally found him on a tarp on the deck. He scared me. He woke up and moved back to bed now.
It was mighty warm last night.

Oh my Tina that must have scared you silly... maybe put a loud bell on door to let you know when it's opened... at least he didn't go far... !

Tina, glad you found Teddy safe---I guess it was nicer outside last night, huh???

I am washing clothes & doing the prep work for Chef salads that will be tonight's supper...DH requested them so he would not have to eat Pizza for supper tonight...thing is it is not pizza i am liking but the ease of the prep for the pizza...he should offer to take me out on Sunday night as well as Sunday morning if he does not want Pizza for supper on Sunday night...JS.

If he wants something special for Sunday, he ought to be in charge of prep and clean-up, Carol. That's my thought, anyway.

Tina what a scare you had. Glad he didn't go far.

Johnny can, will, and sometimes does make his own food but I'd rather not have the mess. His clean up is definitely not the same as my clean up. A chef salad does sound good.

The Fresh Chef salad was good. as was the peach shortcake desserts we had afterward..but making the chef salads were a lot of work. Good thing Rod came up to me & thankjs me for making him the salad (you know, instead of popping a frozen Pizza in the oven.....

WE just tried to burn off my brown weeds--sad thing is it only worked well in my mulched area close to the house..and DH did not want fire that close to the house---oh well, we tried....

Burning anything gives me chills. Take care, Carol.

Tina, does Teddy roam often? That is scary.

Party is over, my house is a wreck...these day's kids seem to run wild. And the parents sit and play on their phones instead of dealing with the kids. I just got in from mowing grass (it didn't rain last night or this morning)now to deal with the hurricane in here. I officially announced that this is the last year for b-day parties in my house.

Just back from taking my Mom to the eye Drs. Now to relax a few before I have to make supper.....

Tomorrow is Tuesday !! YAY !!!!!

I had a nice time today, & I finally got my Victorian Carolers done---I did not buy them (too tiny for me & faces to be done on them, & I am not an eye person) but they were a gift from the owner of the ceramic place that we go to for last Christmas.....so paint them I did.

horrid hot again---I will go out tomorrow as there are taxes to pay.

The weather on TV says it will be HOT today--right now there is a cool breeze and it is beautiful out. I so wish I had of gotten up with Rod, so I could have gone out to get a few hours of work done. But as it is I have bookwork & a pie to make...Before I go to town......perhaps I will plan to get up tomorrow with him.

Hello--
Today I ran my errands, and then came home & made a peach pie, & cinnamon rolls out of the leftover crust. (you know you roll out the extra crust, put a layer of butter & then coat with cinnamon sugar...roll up, cut into 1/2 inch rounds & bake until golden brown. Now I have a LOT of dishes to wash..but hey, we will have Peach pie for dessert tonight.

I got very little done today. Things aren't going anywhere, It will all be here tomorrow.

OK, so apparently Photobucket is no longer free not to mention the "subscription" prices are very high..$5.99..$8.99 and $39.99 a month billed annually--BUT only the last one allows you to do 3rd party hosting & linking....Not worth $479.88 a year to me...

.....so can anyone help me find a new photo hosting site--hopefully a FREE one????.........................Thanks in advance...

no, nothing out of the ordinary is wrong---I think I just get my body going late at night (that is when I do my work) and also I think my iced tea may not really be decaffeinated like the box says it is.

I will drink water tonight & see if that helps any, but that experiment might not help as this does not happen every night...

well, I think it was the iced tea----I guess they messed it up at the factory....
