Hello, everyone--I made it back.

I had a great time and an uneventful trip to Valarie's. WE were supposed to get a hard freeze and a lot of snow...(it got cold but the flurries as gone lickity split) THEN it was in the high 40's for the trip home...& Rod was worried....LOL

That is awesome about meeting that guy, James. I too think that Trey was probably excited. Great for you both.

I am getting tired... I slept 10-1/2 hours Saturday night..(that is w/o the time change) I may sleep that long tonight.

Good Morning. I slept a bit over 9 hours last night. I guess taking care of short people takes a bit out of me. But hey it was fun doing it.

I just finished my 2nd cup of coffee. Tina..I so hope you come to your senses....that cleaning thing is the pits. I thought to wash bed clothes this morning...luckily I was able to talk myself out of it...perhaps it will happen next Monday. In my defense I have so many phone calls to make & paper work to do I have decided to tackle that.

I was gone most of the day yesterday...errands and such. We are getting a major storm starting today. I wanted the weeks worth of chores done while the roads were good for travel.

I never made a pie either....I did make a banana pecan loaf though.

We had a Nor'Easter storm through the night...I don't want to go out to start the clean up. I told DH he needs a job where he stays home in a storm, not out on the roads as soon as it starts. By lunch time there'll be over another foot of snow upon us....and school was cancelled again.

I am so ready to see the middle of April...come on spring.

I know I have been mia lately... been trying to finish up the homeschool for Nicoli ... he's been working hard,,, we will be finished by the end of April..
We have decided to move back to Az , we are in the process of getting the house ready to sell here and the last week of March will go down and see what we can find to buy..will be
in the Sierra Vista,Hereford area, would like a place out in country with and acre or so of land, hubby wants a workshop , I just want good size kitchen...and extra bedrooms for kids to visit.
Would like a real dining room too.. but guess we will see what is available... we hate to go but we need to find a way to cut down expenses... and here doesn't fit that bill.

Well have to go and change the laundry... my handy guy is working on getting new tub in today... and prepping floor for the new ceramic tile.

Nana !! Good to see you !! Yes you have been missed.

My DH is going to retire in the fall at some point and while I too hate to move, ( like my walk in closet) WE to may move down to my oldest DD's. (the one with the triplets) as the cost of living is less costly down by her. BUT I will know no one there save for her, so we shall see.

I wish you and your DH the best of luck with your house shopping.

Junie, moving away will be hard if it is not what you want to do...but I do understand the financial part of it as well.

I have been busy with drywall repair in grandgirl's bedroom...we removed the multitude of stickers and the paint came off with it. What a mess everywhere. I'll never put decals up in there again.

It is hard to explain...I want to move there, to be closer to my DD and to my grandchildren, BUT I want to stay here----on the staying part, my DH is not a social person, and as I am, I have found some ladies to be my friends (ceramics) and so I would miss that social part of it. Then when there was family parties here, my kids would not have a free place to stay. Not to mention myself.

MY DD IN Virginia is not a consideration as They could well not stay in Virginia....so IMO we should not move closer to them.

Nana! It's so good to see you. I hope your house sells for a goodly sum and you find exactly what you need in Az.
Teddy is well. It was probably just phlegm upsetting him. He hates to cough.
