I would have to say I like How to Get Away With Murder even though it's becoming more and more unbelievable and I may end up not liking it after all. And I really like The Big Bang Theory.

My favorite current movie is Kung Fu Panda 3. Really good.

I liked the first season of How to Get Away with Murder, but it just started getting repetitive and boring with the amount of drama they just kept heaping on the pile.

Yea, I liked around the first 3 or was it 4--then it got too much for me even then.

Before it began, I was really looking forward to it.

I have never watched that one yet.

My favorite older movie is 'The Perfect Storm', and my TV series is 'Mom'.

My favorite movie, which has remained a favorite since I was a kid, would have to be The Saint with Val Kilmer.

I don't really have a favorite TV show anymore; it was, for the longest time, Chuck with Zachery Levi or Psych with James Roday.

for a movie, I Like "It's a Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart & Donna Reed.

I watch The Big Bang Theory now---reruns all during the week & then the current season on Thursday nights.

Sort of sick of The Big Bang Theory although Sheldon's mother is always hilarious.

I like Alaska The Last Frontier but I don't know how much they are really living off the land. I read where they make a WalMart run every once in a while.

It has been getting kind of boring lately, especially with Stewart (the comic book store guy) being a more written for character; I don't like his character, not one bit... He's the cliche nerd with no life that would live in his moms basement.

I've seen the Alaska show, it seems interesting, but my DVR scheduler is full; I may watch a couple of episodes on demand though; the mine portion is the only part that fascinates me. My grandpa Gene was one of the first responders in the Sunshine Mine disaster in 1972, and was a miner all of his life. They left me his safety awards from Asarco (the company that ran the mine) after he passed.

A good portion of the Gold and Silver mined in America has come from the Sunshine Mine.

My grandpa got an award after the mine accident, it was this huge amethyst geode and it had these little gold miner guys on it (they looked like little gold army men); it was super neat to see as a kid when we'd visit every summer, but then again, purple is my favorite color.

Wikipedia - Sunshine Mine, Shoshone County, ID
Quote
In the morning of May 2, 1972, a fire broke out in the Sunshine Mine. According to the US Mine Rescue Association, 91 workers died from smoke inhalation or carbon monoxide poisoning; 83 men were rescued, 81 on May 2 and two on May 9. The mine was closed for seven months after the fire, which was one of the worst mining disasters in American history and is the worst disaster in Idaho's history. - Wikipedia

Wonder if anything has happened since 2012?

How do you name one son True and the other Dennis? "two brothers by the names of True and Dennis Blake" Nothing is wrong with the name Dennis but when the other child has such a cool name I'd want to ask mom and dad what they were thinking.

We saw Manchester By the Sea - great acting.

Now I picture his teachers hearing "I wasn't lying, True is my name, it's just not in me" lol

I watch a few minutes of How To Get Away With Murder the other night and evidently one of the students has been murdered and Annalise is on trial for being the killer. I turned the channel. It's just too unbelievable now. Even though I know things are pretend I like for a drama to be somewhat believable but at this point it's just not.

Kevin James is now on a show called "Kevin Can Wait (2016)", it's not nearly as funny, but it still has its moments.

On the topic of British tv...has anyone watched 'Mrs. Brown's Boys' ? Apparently it was considered crude there....but I laugh my butt off when it comes on.

No I have not seen it--to my knowledge it is not shown in this area. I love many of the British shows...Rod & I would look forward to watching them when he had them available to our area.

I am really enjoying the series called 'This Is Us'...it jumps back and forth a lot but is done with a smooth flow to it.

My hair person told me I should watch This Is Us and I've read on FB that people are crying over the episodes. I think it's done for the season. Is it sad?

You have to watch it from the very first episode to follow along...it has sad parts to it. It is a really emotional series....the way it draws you in is spectacular. It makes you believe that you are watching a 'true to life' series. I love it.

I wanted too and tried to watch a Nextflix series with Drew Barrymore. I like Drew. She's cute and perky and is so nice in interviews but I can't watch her as a vampire eating blood and intestines. Why would a person even make such a stupid series? Disappointed.

Right now I'm watching Hoarders. Makes me want to throw away everything I own.

That is a good question....Perhaps Drew just wanted a job & this is what she was offered..but I agree, why would she do such a thing??

I've watched Man With A Plan a few times and like it. I love Joey :) Problem is I can't figure out what time it comes on to watch it regularly. I've also seen Kevin Can Wait and thought it was just ok. Don't know when it comes on either. Whatever happened to the TV Guide?
