Tomorrow I plan to go out & clear off my flower beds....and pick some sage to dry for the winter. It is supposed to get up to like 79 or 80*F here tomorrow, so it will be the last day for me to get that job done....

I am going to do book work this morning & then clear off my big flower bed this afternoon.

Here there will be rains & colder temps tomorrow....so today it is for outdoor work.

I have to get supper going soon, I have a parent-teacher meeting after supper....report cards are in.

The weather is wet but staying mild so that it is falling as rain.

We get our rain tomorrow..and then cooler temps.

I am liking this internet shopping. My DD on the east coast just messaged me that she can order what Rod wanted to get the boys for Christmas with her Prime and gets us a better deal & free shipping...YAY for me...one more thing done...and it is not Thanksgiving yet...

No cooler temps for us 67°. Aubry and I are going to see the Nutcracker tomorrow night. We'll have a good time. I haven't started Christmas shopping. Colt is the only grand child who knows what he wants and he wants everything. The other ones are out of the toy stage and already have everything. Good grief.

IN that case (older grands) I would ask each for a list...that or buy them al tickets to something or another & then take them to eat then to whatever their wish place was. (just an idea). My oldest Grandchild (4 in September) showed me a paper of large metal vehicles--said he wasted one or 2 of the ones on the page, then promptly said "well I want them all" SMH" I guess I can not blame the boy for asking.

If I have someone who won't come up with ideas for Christmas lists, I find something cute or cool and tuck cash in it. They can get what they want.

Off to grocery shop soon for items to put in the boy scout bag & then one for the table at church....After that we shall see what the day has in store..

I will have to go out tomorrow. I don't care for going to the grocery store on a regular Saturday. But I'm sure that the Saturday before Thanksgiving will be doubly hectic.

Yes, I bet so. Today even as early as I went, the grocery was WAY busy & way stocked....much more to buy than usual..it was great--busy but great.

I got the items I will need to make a cake & a pie so Rod & I will have some dessert at home. I will not be buying anything else unless I am out of it for the next 2 weeks...

The oven is heating up for Supper now....baked chicken legs that I will put BBQ sauce on. I have left over Spanish rice to go with, and I will find a veggie as well.

Yes, I figure if I go at about the time they open it'll be the best it can be.
I'm going to say good night early tonight. I may not sleep yet but I'll zone until it happens.

I wanted to go to sleep at 6 pm--and until around 8:30 I had to fight to stay awake---now I am wide awake....

Aubry and I went to a ballet tonight and it was great. She's a fun girl. She's getting some type of Fuji camera for her birthday next month and wants film for Christmas and the film is so cheap I can get her enough to last a long time.

I am currently trying to talk myself into cleaning my DD Valarie's room here. It is more a question of getting rid of things to give her more room than anything, which is why I have to talk myself into it..

I had Rod put my 4th Grandson's framed photo on the wall today. So now I will wait for my DD to give me photos of the girls and they will get hung on another wall, I cannot wait.

Sunny, Both girls "say" I am done getting grandchildren.....well the oldest says that. My youngest's DH says they are done, then he also says in about 18 moths he thinks Emily will want another baby. . That child just LOVES babies.....who would have thought.

Sunny commenting on supper made me realize......I need to cook some ground beef for tonight's supper (Taco Crunch) and it is all frozen solid...I guess I should go get some out of the freezer, huh???

Supper is done & cleaned up, bath is taken & more clothes are washed.

Tina, sorry I forgot to say. The day after I had my bad cramps, was a scary day, as the pain was better but far from gone---but now a few days down the road, the pain is all but gone. So, YAY for me !!

DH started back to work this morning, full time for the Winter....and GG is off to school. I am going to enjoy some quietness

Last November we got GG a piggy bank that needs to be opened with a can opener...then you throw away the can. We gave her all our nickles and dimes(remember we have no pennies here anymore). We opened it last night so she could roll it, it is going to be her Xmas money for buying gifts for people. We were shocked to see that there was over $70 in it. She was so excited....we are going to make it an annual thing. The metal banks are only $2 at the dollar store...the next one is already waiting to be filled.

I think I'm going to end up either quitting or getting quit from my job again. This afternoon I got a call from my supervisors supervisor telling me I need to come in to be fit tested for a mask to wear in the building. At first I was so surprised I asked if the mask person is going to meet me somewhere to fit me and she said I'd have to come into the building. I told her I'm not coming into the building so she told me to call the lady and set things up with her. After I hung up it dawned on me that I'm not wearing a mask all day. How will I talk to my clients on the phone? What if I want to take a drink of something? What if a mold spore gets inside the mask? So many questions but mainly I'm not wearing a mask all day. So we shall see. The ball is in their court. It is not a necessity that I be in that building for my job to be done correctly. It's called controlling.

Yes, I think they may have too far, Sheri. They need a new building for sure.

It has definitely been a strange November. Yesterday I ate a tomato that came from my garden and have more. The squash got murdered last night so I imagine the tomatoes will be next. This gardening without bugs is great. I'm amazed that anything is growing since we haven't had rain since the hurricane.

I put out my first Christmas decoration last night. We are staying home for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. I'm not sure I know how to act.

I finally got my store run in! It has been a week since my last one. And the store wasn't crazy busy. But I did forget to get more cash before I left so I was somewhat limited to under $80. I do have my bank cards on me though. But I stayed under.
I am staying home for the holidays also. But that's the way I like it.

I am fine, Tina. I had to take my DH's truck in to get the oil changed & stuff. Then it was Tuesday, so ceramics. When I got home I had work to do, so I did finaly get in .
